I know that there are three versions of Azur Lane: the original Chink, Nip and Korean versions. The original Chink looks toned down because they are not allowed to have the art look too lewd in China. Then I hold one question. As I know stowaways or people that either had to abandon ship or eject out of the fighter pilot. From what i've seen of the art, there's going to be an influx of kai ni Tenryuu for a while since it's new and all. After that, it'd be an even mix of classic and kai ni. There's still new doujins and art being made of her classic look afer all.
They probably went with the design to be similar to Tatsuta's kai ni since same ship class means similar uniform.
Still would've liked her kai ni to be more cool, though. Similar to Kiso's would've be great, even if Tenryuu would look more like a chuuni.

Oh yeah, naval trivia. This time, it's about Kaga.
Kaga was originally laid down as a Tosa-class battleship, and was launched on 17 November 1921 at the Kawasaki Heavy Industries shipyard in Kobe. However both Tosa-class ships were canceled and scheduled to be scrapped under the terms of the Washington Naval Treaty.
However, the battlecruiser Amagi (Akagi's then sister ship at the time before she got converted to an aircraft carrier) got heavily damaged in the Great Kantō earthquake of 1923 and then scrapped. So Kaga was chosen to replace her in conversion.
So Kaga really lucked out there.

Welp. Stumbling half-assed through the game to get enough ships and other crap to at least attempt the upcoming event. Turns out Kancolle is more of a resource management game than anything else.

Just need to clean up the place and try to get some life in it again.
Anyway, ship trivia. This time it's about Akebono.
In game, she constantly insults you by calling you a shitty admiral. Turns out it's because she got constantly shat on by superiors. One lousy moment got her called an unlucky ship and thrown into more lousy moments. I'm just going to copy what was on the wikia here for your reading pleasure.
1. Battle of the Coral Seas
Akebono was assigned to escort Zuikaku while Ushio was assigned to Shoukaku. In the middle of the mission, Ushio requested to switch with Akebono, to which Akebono agreed. However, American bombers heavily damaged Shoukaku, yet Zuikaku got away without a single scratch. As a result, Ushio & Zuikaku were considered the lucky ships from this point on while Akebono & Shoukaku received the opposite. Similarly, rather than reprimanding Ushio, Akebono was reprimanded and blamed for Shoukaku's injuries. Akebono was then reassigned from the front lines to the rear.
This is reflected in her Secretary(3) quote "If you don't like me, why don't you just reassign me?."
2. January 1944 Escort
Akebono & her sister Sazanami were escorting a fleet of supply ships. En route, Sazanami was attacked by USS Albacore (SS-218) & sank on the spot. Akebono launched 59 depth charges & successfullydrove it away. However, the delayed rendezvous with the supply fleet left it with no protection. As such, it was virtually annihilated.
This is reflected in her Library Intro, "….But, I'm a bit uneasy around subs….", as she not only lost her sister to them, but failed as an escort.
3. Battle of Leyte Gulf/Battle of Surigao Strait
Akebono was once again assigned with Ushio. When Mogami collided into Nachi, causing the former to begin sinking, Akebono went to escort Mogami. However, the American air wings did not let up & further damaged the half-sunken Mogami. In the end, Akebono was ordered to scuttle Mogami with a torpedo.
4. Manila Air Raids
The Americans were determined to finish off Nachi, who had just received damage from crashing into Mogami at Surigao Strait. At that time, Akebono was ported with Nachi and was the only ship able to immediately defend Nachi. Unfortunately, as much as Akebono attempted to fend off the innumerable number of aircraft, Nachi sustained several heavy hits & sank.
Naturally, Akebono was heavily damaged as well & Ushio towed her into the dock for repairs. However a week later, the Americans launched another air strike. Akebono was critically hit, with her cannons, engines, and torpedoes all but destroyed. She sank (upright in shallow waters) while being observed by Ushio nearby.
Closing notes
If Akebono & Ushio hadn't switched back in the Coral Seas, her fate may have been different. However Akebono doesn't blame Ushio for all of this - she is much more upset at her superiors who blamed her inappropriately while overlooking the circumstances at the time. That's why she insists on calling the admiral 'Kuso Teitoku' - she has a profound distrust of her superiors.

Alright, USS Savannah. No art of her since she wasn't drawn yet and I suck at drawing. Either way by her namesake, she'd be a qt southern girl. That is if she wasn't built in the north.
Savannah was a Brooklyn-class light cruiser constructed by the New York Shipbuilding Corporation in Camden, New Jersey.

>Launched: May 8,1937
>Commissioned: March 10, 1938
She was first tasked to protect American nationals in Europe in case war would break out. However, the Munich agreement postponed that.
She then spent her time doing exercises in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans until she was assigned to neutrality patrols in the Atlantic.
When the US joined the war, she would take part in the western task force of Morocco in Operation Torch (US-Anglo invasion of French North Africa). In addition to shellig French artillery that were firing on the ships, Savannah performed a rather unusual role. She had her scout planes drop depth charges on tank columns.
She then was part of the South Atlantic Patrol to hunt German blockade runners. She actually managed to catch one. However the Germans scuttled their ships and tried to escape. Savannah picked up the 72 men and held them as prisoners of war.
Her next assignments were to provide fire support and bombing during the invasions of Sicily and Salerno. She lost three of her four scout planes to the Luftwaffe.
On September 11, 1943 while off the coast of Salerno, she was hit by a Fritz X PGM radio-controlled gravity bomb. The bomb penetrated the armored roof of the number 3 gun turret, sliced through three decks and stopped in a lower handling room where it exploded, blowing a large hole in the bottom of the ship and tearing open some seams in the ship’s port side. For approximately half an hour, secondary explosions in the gun room delayed fire-fighting efforts by the crew. Fires ravaged the forward part of the ship, but the crew quickly sealed off flooded and burned out compartments. with the help of the tugs Hopi and Moreno, Savannah was assisted to Valletta, Malta, for temporary repairs.
This was one of the first times in naval history that a warship was hit and seriously damaged by a radio-controlled bomb from an aircraft.
Savannah stayed at Malta for three months before being able to sail back to the Philadelphia Navy Yard for more permanent repairs. She underwent 8 months of upgrades and repairs with new superstructure, new guns, new radar. At the end, she more resembled her half sister St Louis, than her Brooklyn-class sister ships.
She never got sent to another combat zone for the remainder of the war. She spent her time dojng training exercises until October when she rejoined CruDiv 8.
In January 1945 she escorted the Quincy (CL-71) as it carried President Roosevelt across the Atlantic on his way to the Yalta summit. She remained in the Mediterranean until the President returned from Yalta then escorted his convoy back across the Atlantic. From March to May 1945 she was used as a training ship for the crews of new ships that hadn't been commissioned. She would then become the flagship of a Midshipman Training Squadron after the war.
For her last two assignments after the war, she was tasked with two trips to brigs US personnel from Europe. Two days after her second trip, she was moved to the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard on December 19, 1945 for her deactivation overhaul.
She was decommissioned on February 3, 1947, stricken from the naval records on March 1, 1959, and finally scrapped on January 25, 1966.
Savannah was awarded 3 battles stars and has a plaque in Savannah, Georgia.

Up until mid-1944, the most advanced torpedo in the US submarine force's arsenal was the Mark 14. The Mark 14 was, up until that time, an almost completely ineffective weapon. Basically, the Bureau of Ordinance failed to properly test it, both while it was being designed and when sub captains began to report failures.
The thing had four main faults: The thing ran too deep, the magnetic influence detonator was too sensitive, the contact detonator failed during high-energy impacts, and the gyro system could occasionally send the thing back at its launcher (although that last one was common to all gyro-guided torpedoes).
The running too deep was an engineering oversight - essentially the depth detector checked water pressure to determine depth, but the port it sampled the water from was at the rear of the torpedo where pressure was lower, so it thought it was too shallow. The torpedo, therefore, went deeper than set and missed its target entirely. They eventually fixed this, after a few impromptu tests, by moving the sensing port to the midsection, where the flow effects were minimal.
The magnetic detonator was designed to use the fact that the earth's magnetic field magnetizes any large metal objects floating in the ocean; it detected the ambient magnetic field of the ship and detonated when it was at a certain strength, which if properly calibrated would be directly beneath the target. However, the detonator was tested near the equator, where such fields are weakest, and used at high latitudes where the fields were stronger. The torpedo detected the field and detonated too early. The problem was compounded because one of the admirals running the Silent Service was in BuOrds when the Mk14 was being designed and refused to believe his pet project didn't work. Eventually he was overruled, but by then at [i]least[/i] 3 carriers, including Junyou, were spared due to this defect.
Then, when they eventually turned off the magnetic detonator, pic related happened because the contact detonator was fucked too. This was because the detonator was copied wholesale from the earlier, and slower, Mark 10. The firing pin was positioned perpendicular to the direction of travel, which worked for the Mk10 because it was a relatively slow torpedo. When the much faster Mk14 impacted a target, the sudden deceleration caused the firing pin to bind in its channel and fail to impact the primer. Eventually Pearl Harbor quick-fixed the problem, and the Mk14 finally became a decent weapon, nearly two years after the war began.
The upshot of this whole thing is that, if/when an American subgirl appears, she's likely to have run with barely-functioning weapons for her entire service career. Any admirals commanding her should give her their torpedo ASAP. (And also the German subs - they had similar issues.)
Yes, the whole point of this post was for that joke.

That other one was ran by a kike redditor that censored bad search terms like "loli" who then proceeded to kill the site by illegally trying to profit from it.
Invidious isn't as bad, but it still takes thumbnails and videos straight from google server to your computer (if you have any sort of domain blocking addons on your browser you can see it links to ytimg and googlevideo), so it's even more dangerous than downloading a video straight from youtube with youtube-dl.
Webms/mp4s are the only safe alternative. If you're unable to do that then just post a text link so other anons won't send their browser info and IP straight to google just from browsing the page.
