I started reading a lot to improve my writing for a game I'm working on. I made a wishlist of ~25 books and work through them one by one.
Thus far I've read:

Currently I'm reading Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk. Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad and a compilation of H.P. Lovecraft's best works are lying on my table.
Copenhagen deals with with our relation to truth and knowledge in general. It's about a real event which occurred in 1941 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Two of the brightest minds of their generation (Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg) had a pretty bad quarrel that ended their long friendship. They were talking about the most serious shit you could imagine: the Nazi's and Allie's nuclear programs.
Despite all their memories, letters and the interrogations by spies after the war, nobody knows for sure what the hell happened during their faithful walk. Not even them. It's quite ironic given that Heisenberg's biggest achievement was the uncertainty principle, in which he has shown that (when you go down to the quantum level) you can't know the exact position and velocity of a particle at the same time. The more accurate you know one, the less accurate you know the other. That principle ties into what happened there with a beautiful irony.
Animal Farm was quite nice, although not as good as 1984 imo. 1984 grabbed me like no other story ever did (be it games, books or movies).
Brave New World was a good, but hard read for me. The first three chapters simply destroyed my soul. They were not pleasant to read at all. They're like the least vanilla thing imaginable.
Fahrenheit 451 was quite good, although I hoped for it to be less similar to BNW. In a way they explore the same concept, but in a different setting from a different angle. Good read though.
Fight Club is pretty messed up. I'm about halfway through. What I can say at this point is that I really, really like the writer's style.
If BNW was so hard to read for me, I wonder how I will react to the really messed up stuff on my wishlist. Well, only one way to find out …

As far as plot goes it deals with the rise of AI's in flashbacks, while 'modern day' has a human in an artifial body accompany an emissary AI to the original Earth AI. Apparently humanity stagnated as the AI's prevented what they saw as harmful inbreeding, eventually going extinct in extreme K-type attrition. Regardless the vast majority uploaded near death. AI's travelled the stars with loads of these people, slowly evolving and learning and even creating life as experiments on new worlds.
The emissary was sent after Earth's AI stopped talking to the rest for a few centuries. It had been dispensing wonderful news about some hoofed beasts populating the plains when it cut out all communication.
Pls. I never finished it. It started me on scifi as a whole, saved me from depression. I need to know what book this was/is.

If mod actions were active within that time or a few days prior to the ip leak, everyone who got banned would of had their ip's leaked.
Also the ban list has been scrubbed clean since someone is using the banlist page request to make the site lag, since it resembles a past attack that buizel did.
Everything is pretty much gone, and you can go to sudo and talk to codemonkey (site admin) to confirm the lack of banlist history.
