I played Magic 2014 at least and the stack functioned normally. Mostly. I mean, it gave you time to respond to spells cast and abilities activated or triggered and it worked like it should. I didn't notice any glaring issues with it.

the duels games are suppoused to be kind of introduction to new players to what's magic but wizard does a excellent job making the game completely different to what they might find in the RL duels,
first and most impotantly thing is the limit on cards based on rarity. 4 commons, 3 uncommons, 2 rares, 1 mythic in any deck in duels, while in RL you're allowed to have 4 copies of each card until you make 60.
