Anything that deals with "cyberconciousness" pre-artificial-superintelligence is a waste of time and mainly enticed by delusional techno-futurists who preoccupy themselves with new-age and postmodern garbage in face of the aesthetic approach of futurism/cybernetics/cyber&bio-punk/etc; their approaches to these topics are, every time and without fail, flawed in a large number of ways.
The use of nanotechnology/bioengineering and what-have-you for life expansion or "enhancement" as well as discussing ethical approaches along with social and philosophical consequences to technological integration (and eventual technological existence) can be worthwhile, but what we have here is just profoundly misguided drivel. Belongs in the trash bin.
