This board is a cesspool of negativity, poisonous words, hurt, trolling, anger… and I’ve been a participant in it for far too long. It’s like a car crash that’s almost impossible to look away from and could end tragically. I get a sick feeling whenever I come on here and I can’t carry this situation into the next phase of my life. I don’t like how I’ve changed as a person since finding out about MDE and getting involved with Sam. I need to unplug from everything MDE-related— this mess has been eating away at my mind for a year now. What fucked my brain up and sunk me into a dark place wasn’t dumb relationship stuff but that I had never confronted someone so self-centered and deceitful, a legitimate sociopathic narcissist. Those tend to be overused buzzwords nowadays but I’m 100% serious. Since then I’ve genuinely approached humans differently in general. I take responsibility for being a doormat in the past even if it was just because I was lonely and desperate for any type of friendship.

It’s awful that Sam has done so many people wrong (there’s a long list of names stretching back years) and it’s sad that MDE has disintegrated in the worst way but he’s already ran himself into the ground with his own actions. There’s no end in sight to this bs. I understand that some others have much graver grievances with Sam than I do. Maybe I should’ve never gotten involved but at the time it felt more than justified. It was also nice to know I wasn’t alone/crazy in the way I thought about Sam.

I guess I’m posting this to make the decision clear to myself and maybe help guide others to the same conclusion. Attention and stirring people up emotionally is his lifeblood. Block the twitter, instagram, everything. I pray everyone involved finds peace and healing. I have great hope for the future and need to focus on that. So goodbye 🕊
