i've been posting some of the better paragraph-lenght charles attack posts here in the past 3 weeks. I really don't like the bullshit he's been pushing on youtube and twitter and have no regrets about insulting him on here and trying to deconstruct some of his personality in a toxic way.
THat said I don't want any painful beef between him and Sam, for both their cases. I love being an anonymous dramalord asshole but deep down I don't want this for either of them. Nick is so confidently straight that he comes off as kinda faggy. Like he'd do some soft-core homo stuff. In reality he's maybe ~5% gay; would probably kiss his male friends on the lips if even a little drunk and the mood was right for horsing around. Would sleep in the same bed as his male friends comfortably, even if not drunk. Comes off as completely happy and fufilled in his marriage and does not consider what he might be "missing" in other men.
Sam, as another anon pointed out, has a suspicious knowledge of gay culture, but that could just be because he's usually a witty/observant dude. I could see him being gay on purpose, without alcohol (as in kissing other dudes, groping their asses/being groped, etc). I couldn't see him sleeping in the same bed as another dude comfortably/casually because his mind will be hung up on how gay it is and he wouldn't be able to relax and be normal. I'd say Sam is about 35-40% gay (<50%) for that reason. He's basically the Ernest Hemmingway of the core MDE trio, as in he'll probably end up with a super butchy/tomboy girl because an overtly feminine gf will only ever remind him of his slight interest/curiosity for men and a tomboy is as close as he can get without having to face facts.
Charls is more difficult to determine. I could see him kissing dudes when drunk and also when sober. He was way too comfortable in drag during World Peace, and I was so blown over by the gentle, loving looks he kept giving Sam during Tissue Box. He also came off as really comfortable almost entirely naked and tied up in Manslave. I also find he hangs on saying words like "gay" and "fag" in a way he doesn't when he says shit like "nigger", etc. I would say he's holding out for a wife-material gf but if it doesn't pan out (like all his past gfs), he'll cave and get himself an androgynous boyfriend who isn't overtly flamboyant. They likely won't actually have sex physically, just do some over the pants frotting and basically be like an older gay couple semi in the closet. So that puts Charls at >50% gay but more evidence is required.
