No, he’s not schizophrenic. In my opinion he is still trying to figure himself out, and that translates to him acting in a way we think is non-genuine. Of course he isn’t comfortable or sure of himself and he’s saying a bunch of stupid stuff. That’s okay.
People are like rivers; we go through stages of maturity unless something interrupts this development, and we must work on that interruption until it is time to restart the clock on our growth. Very few people can call themselves regular YouTubers or streamers, and of those people even less can say they’ve had a TV show (however short lived). Charls is “working” on a problem right now, the loss of his show and who knows what else with Sam, which has halted and reset his development to an extent.
It seems fake to us, it may seem trivial because “having a TV show” or “being a YouTuber isn’t special or important”; but Charls has chosen to make this what is important to him, and we have to understand him in that context.
Also I think he’s just lonely. We’ve seen him talk on stream about his craving for intimacy and physical affection, and he’s clearly not some normie guy who can get that easily.
So he’s struggling with things we can’t really relate to (which doesn’t make it any less of a struggle or any less important), and he’s clearly someone who would do better with more emotional support than he currently has available. But that’s not really our fault or our problem. It’s up to him to learn and get what he needs.
And guess what? 10$/mo isn’t emotional support, so if you or anyone here is paying that and you’re upset about Chuck’s current behaviour, then simply stop paying him. Stop paying if your 10 dollars a month comes with such criticism to someone who is trying to grow and learn from a personally difficult experience.
I just think calling him a fake schizo or whatever is unfair.

He's got that sickness people get when they want to be admired or respected for their intelligence but are insecure about whether they're intelligent enough to warrant it. They tend to compensate for this perceived deficiency by being overly theatrical. They do it as a way of protecting themselves from criticism that may be flung their way. The character provides them an escape route for situations when they feel they're about to be exposed. Charles is in the prime age range to be like this. In your 20's it's socially acceptable to being wrong as you're "still figuring things out" and dabbling in various ideas, but by your 30's people expect that you'll have a stable and coherent life philosophy. Charles clearly doesn't feel like he has one, so in his insecurity he's morphed himself into the character you see on his streams. I think he's aware of how transparent his act is. But he's in a desperate situation of shame and financial instability, so he's gone full tilt into it.

I've been thinking about these videos and his recent behavior a lot while away from the PC recently.
Look, the dude is a construction worker. Literally. Charles Carroll is a construction worker.
I know there's a push for 'the trades' in this sphere, a way to bypass university debt/faggotry and create a life of dignity. But it doesn't waft away all the stereotypes that we know to be true, and society has for a reason. There will be 10,000 construction workers born for every chemist, engineer, etc. They are less valuable to society. Don't fucking kid yourself. Most of them are just dumb. There's dignity in work… if you are working towards improving the lot of your group.. yadda yadda. It's still lower status. Sam knows and thinks/feels this and hates himself for this contradiction because it's jewy in nature, it aligns with the kind of elitism that he secretly identifies with.
The reason for this disdain of Construction Worker class fo people? Because when you offer pearls (Sam's demonstration and highlighting of Jewish and leftists attempts to destroy western societies from within) before swine (Construction Workers like Charles Carroll) you end up short circuiting their inadequate neural hardware. Charles entire attempt at a persona of edgy reactionary was a fake from the start, a crude copy of Sam's. He was never able to match it or even come close, he knew he was faking it and so did everyone else.
With the breakup of MDE he is able to stop pretending. His RAW, INTENSE hatred towards SAM HYDE is evident in these videos. When he does the intense, angry, sarcasm-ladened mocking voice

Charles is referring to his old mentor and friend Sam. It's Sam he's attacking in all these things. He mentions "it's a waste of time because these people will never be woken up" as a kind of cover up. Charles Carroll is *exactly the type of person who will never be woken up and on whom it's a waste of time to try to educate.* Charles isn't mocking these attitudes becasue he thinks it's a waste of time (pearls before swine), he's mocking with intense bitterness because he IS swine and he was never able to really grasp the pearls. He hates the fact that he doesn't really understand what Sam says. He doesn't understand the broader context of things, he isn't able to make incisive comments on current affairs (Tap Water was his best shot, and during that sketch Sam watched like an awkward father overlooking his dimwitted son try to be smart and cool like him.)

let's be honest here: is there any possible way Sam and Charls won't end up dead in their 50's of a suicide?
