What is the right pill for me?

>too conservative to be libertarian

This makes no sense, conservative values could only ever thrive in a libertarian society where you wouldn't be held at gunpoint by a state.

What do Gary Johnson, the NAP and fag marriage have to do with conservative values tho?

This. A system in which persons are treated as responsible and expected to act like it will create responsible people. It also helps to remember that morality isn't even primarily a matter of economics, or legislation, but of ideology. And what's to prevent people from embracing an ideology of justice, peace and charity in the framework of the free market?

>Gary Johnson

He isn't even a classical liberal. He's just a modern liberal who's a bit of a fan of the free market, except when it conflicts with

>fag marriage

Yes, we allow homosexuals to get married, but we don't force anyone to accept this marriage as valid. You and your church are free to ban them, excommunicate them and use false pronouns for them.

>NAP

It's just the idea that people must not be aggressed against taken to its logical conclusion. Nothing mystic about it. In a less consequent form, it's already the main pillar of any society worth the name.

modern liberal causes like equality.

It's doubtful that libertarianism is for you if you want the state to enforce conservative values. What you do is, for instance, say that everyone is entitled to live how they want with no interference. So the pro diversity liberals and commies shuffle off to their colorful slums, while a group of conservatives embrace capitalism and become rich. Of course there is always the risk that the commies will start a revolution, but the ancaps should have enough M1 Abrams and Leopards to mow down anyone if they break the non aggression principle.

Or you can just be a natsoc, whatever.

Conservatives would enjoy the state holding people at gunpoint to uphold traditional values and social norms, even if they would not admit it. In many ways Authoritarianism has been linked with Conservatism, with Monarchism and Fascism in Europe. Libertarians tend to be, for the most part, progressives, where Conservative values certainly don't thrive.

This. If you're conservative because of feels and not for logical reasons, then you can kindly fuck off.

Conservative values NOT Rethuglican, but conservative values thrive in an environment where people are responsible for themselves. Lower promiscuity rates = lower divorce rates/lower STD rates as well. Entrepreneurship, fiscal responsibility, two-parent/two-grandparent & working parent households depending on how old your conservative values are have lower social/financial failure rates, lower suicide rates, lower mental health problem rates, etc. The only downside from a socially conservative background is how beating your kids tends to be bad for their mental development as human beings, and even these studies fail to make the difference between two spanks/a smack on the cheek and actually beating your kid. At least allegedly according to the data, a conservative society should thrive in a stateless society/minarchist society. To claim you need a state to enforce conservative values when non-conservative values are already only in existence because of state subsidies in education, crime, welfare, etc. in the first place, is to make one or both of two claims:

1) Conservatism can't survive on its own and is an inferior system (I, for one, hate any conservative who insists on this).

2) You think a heavily conservative society for a decade is superior than a moderately conservative society for a century (shame on you).

Yes there are risk factors associated with this way of thinking. Yes, pedos will still exist, gay people will still be spreading HIV, and socially progressive faggots will still conglomerate in their slums to fuck like rabbits, but to claim this is unacceptable is to claim that hundreds of children who are unfortunately raised in such a shitty environment (or who maybe was never born) are worth ending the potential lives of thousands of children who will be born into prosperity to loving families instead of killed in an abortion clinic when a generation or two down the line people realize what's up and understand why conservative values like honor, religion, and family are so important to the well being of everyone.

It sounds like you're coming from a similar place to where I was, not that long ago. I'd definitely recommend that you read some Hoppe - it should be right up your alley. Don't let the "physical removal" may-mays give you the wrong idea about him. "Democracy: The God That Failed" was the first book of his that I read, and I can't possibly recommend it enough. You definitely won't be saying that you're too conservative to be a libertarian after you're done.

>>67585

I absolutely have to disagree. Honestly, I recommend that you read some Hoppe, too. I don't mean that in an "UGH, EDUCATE YOURSELF, SHITLORD" kind of way, either; I honestly think that it's worth your time, and that it'll show things from a perspective that you may not have considered before. Or don't. It's up to you.

Traditional values and norms thrive naturally, in the real world there are consequences that manifest themselves when you partake in degenerate behavior and don't have the state to support you. I imagine a Libertarian society would be more conservative in a lot of ways than our modern society, although not on the same level as a fundamentalist theocratic monarchy or anything. There are both pros and cons to progressivism and conservatism, obviously we have tipped way too far in one direction.
