An over active imagination some people call it. I remember, I used to think I could see what others were seeing just by looking at them. Go out for a bit, rest a little at Walmart or another public place, and when you go back it should be fixed. If not, ignore, sleep, and repeat.

Are you eating and sleeping all right? Do you have any problems in life? Do you have a job or are you a full time student? Are you taking your multi vitamins? Do your family members talk to you? Do they respect you? Do you respect yourself? Do you go out and do something social at least once a week? Do you have any friends that you share a mutual trust and that you could depend on one another? Do you exercise regularly? Do you have short term and long term goals? Do you practice focusing or stilling the mind? Is your room clean, well lit and tidy?

If you mean socializing by having a conversation with other people that are not my family, then yes.

Only short term, my long term goals are always changing.

Nope.

Are you eating all right?
Take multi vitamins and start exercising at least twice a week. It could be push ups squats, jogging/waking for forty minutes etc.
If you can trust anyone at least trust yourself and trust that others on /kind/ want you to at least be happy.
Practice focusing on your short term goals. If you are a student focus your mind on your studies. You'll get better and better at focus /concentration.
That way, even if you are seeing imaginary phantoms, you can put your attention and focus elsewhere.
Also if you are a student you might have access to free counselors/psychologists. So explore that. Write everything out before you go so that you don't chicken out or forget to bring stuff/ symptoms up. Also if you don't like the counselor, instead of not going back, ask for another one. You pay exorbitant uni fees so you might as well get something out of it.
Good luck anon. You'll be ok. I believe in you

My eating habits haven't changed, so I don't think there's a problem with that.
I have access to a free doctor and psycologist at my uni, I'll think about going to the doctor.
Thank you, anon, for all the advices. :3

in my webmd-tier opinion it sounds like you could have schizophrenia, have fun with the chair spiders.

I went to the doctor, but she coudn't figure out, so she recommended me to see a psychiatrist/psycologist, but I'm too lazy to do that. So far she confirmed this:
>hallucinations (visual, auditory and gustatory)
>persecutory thoughts
She discarted schizophrenia because I'm too calm and not violent. And also anything spiritual related because I don't believe on it.
There could be more things happening, but I try to avoid self-diagnosis or anything related to it.

Go to the psychologist. Then on the psychologist recommendation, go to the psychiatrist. You probably need medication. But a psychiatrist job is to simply prescribe pills.
I'd feel more comfortable if a psychologist sees you first.
Don't be lazy. Hiding this issue might be more dangerous as you'll have to confront it later. And it might cost you thousands later. Let your uni health plan pay for this for you now.

I'm not comfortable with popping pills either. It's why I'm asking you to see a psychologist first, before seeing the psychiatrist. Psychologist try to fix things using other methods first, but will recommend that you see a psychiatrist if it is necessary.
Good luck. I have a very deep depression that I've had for years. I wish i dealt with it many years ago in my undergrad when it would have cost me nothing.
Your problem sounds dangerous if left untreated so please listen to the kind anons asking you to look after your own health.

It's funny because I can only trust people that I've never met before.
Anyway, I don't think "talking" will be able to fix anything that is wrong with me.
Do you mind if I ask what happened with you when you were an undergrad?

I had a series of really bad experiences. It would take too long to get into. I've only started to sort them out in the last few years. I've cut my dad completely out of my life and everyone else is far away and unable to bother me. I live alone now and no one knows my address.
Anyways i wasn't seeing spiders. It was 'simply' depression. But a really unshakeable one.
It was tied to the fact that i didn't value myself or my own happiness. I just wanted to be acknowledged by my own parents.
I've dug up and thrown away a lot of bad values and presuppositions.
It's a long thing to get into. But anyways. Let me sage my own blog post.
Don't feel bad for me. I'm in an okay state and I'm trying to live for myself and my own happiness. I can't be of any use to anyone if I'm miserable and in existential pain.

As long as you can differentiate between what's real and what isn't then it isn't a problem. I myself have experienced mild hallucinations such as an eccentric voice in my head, patterns forming in darkness such as faces or geometry or moving patterns like a wave or something. People calling my name when no one called it, or moving shadows in the corner of my eye, just today when I was staring out the window I could have sworn that a parked car's wheel was spinning but the more I looked at it the more still it became so I guess that too was an illusion. Also when I was taking paper tests in high school I would doze off and stare at the words on the paper and sometimes I could see a mental/psychic shadow of the paper and the words on it that followed wherever I moved my eyes to. It's just like when I stare at a light source and there is a shadow or imprint that stays on my vision until my eyes relax or whatever except with words on a paper, it sometimes happened with people too, I would see a shadow of their face or body.
Obviously these 'symptoms' become more apparent the less sleep I have or when I'm not focusing on something, so usually when I'm well rested and keeping my mind focused then they don't happen. Though in all of these cases I could tell it wasn't real so I never needed to talk to anyone about it. I have never done drugs and I've had it as long as I can remember, I don't know if it's normal but looking at this thread I'm guessing it might not be.

Try setting a set time for you to go to bed. Even if you can't sleep, just lie there with your eyes closed. Try to cut back on caffeine, if possible. I understand sometimes life needs that extra boost. Please also let us know if you're doing better

It wasn't that. The psychiatrist prescribed me some AP which did the job, but the side effects were a little worse, so I stopped taking the pills and everything went back to normal even though I have had some hallucinations after that, but I don't care. That's it.
Thanks for your help, anon. Have a good day.
