INB4 sorry about my broken english I suck I know. AND I'M REALLY SORRY FOR THE WALL OF TEXT but it's worth it.
This is just another story of a random act of /kind/ness. I know it's just a little fish in a huge ocean and it might not be interesting but I just want to get this out of my chest, so here it is.
I'm training to be a mexican wrestler (luchador), I always wanted to be one but it is hard, REALLY REALLY hard. For those of you who don't know, mexican Lucha Libre (wrestling) is a little bit different than what you see in america, in short; let's say that we didn't get the memo that wrestling is fake. Well the thing is that there is a rule in the gym that CAN'T by any means be broken, 'NO KIDS ALLOWED WHILE WE ARE TRAINING' because it's a violent sport you know. Our instructor is an old luchador with more than 30 years in the business, and boy is he tough! he is really strong and his voice is really loud, he went to Japan many times.
One day one of us (the rookies) told us that his father will come for him in an hour or two (we have 3 or 4 hours to train) so we began training before our instructor arrived, so when he came we were ready for the 2 minutes 1v1 part of the training. the time flew so fast and the father of my partner arrived but he had company, her little sister (~10 yr/o.) we heard him tell her to not get inside and to wait in the car, the father just took a sit in some chairs near the wrestling ring while our instructor watched us both wrestling, I won once he won one and BEFORE the time was up we heard the little girl that suddenly got inside the gym, the father was mad and a little bit scared because he knew he was breaking the rules and our instructor was no less scarier than a top army guy she run to the other side of the ring (far from the exit door) screaming and laughing while watching us wrestle (we are train to keep fighting NO MATTER what happens outside, only our instructor is allowed to stop us), while the father was running to catch her she watched us, she thought we were just roughhousing and laugh even more when her father caught her, and told her the ol' 'I TOLD you to stay in the car!' we heard the girl saying "but I want to wrestle too!", and yes she actually said "wrestle" my partner told me once that she have been watching him in some competitions and love the sport (wrestling and lucha lucha libre too), the father took her and start walking straight to the exit door, she was crying and pointing to the ring, to be honest it was kind of heart breaking, but we understand it's just imposible for her to actually do it, when suddenly our instructor stopped everything, our match and the father, he told one of the other rookies to close the exit door, and said "NO ONE GETS JUST INSIDE MY GYM AND GETS OUT WITHOUT A MATCH", he took the little girl and put her on the ring, we were confused, he made this hand gesture to the father that 'it was ok' he told us to get our butts out of the canvas, we did, so he sat the little girl on the soft part of the turnbuckle and told her if she knew the rules of wrestling and lucha, she told him ALL OF THEM he laughs (just like in the picture I uploaded, it's not him obviously but that's pretty much what we saw that day), and he told her that she was gonna face… HIM!. we all were so confused but let everything just go to see what was going on.
So there we were, the rookies and the father outside the ring, sitting in the first rows like some lucha libre fans watching luchadors wrestle, the little girl was SO SO HAPPY and when they began the match, se grabed our instructor big arm and he was all like "OUCH OUCH!" AND FELL DOWN we quickly got it, THAT WAS HIS ACT OF KINDNESS he was giving this little girl the best experience a wrestling fan could ever dream of, of course he was pretending to be hurt he was humoring her. We began to shout the typical stuff "GET HIM! PIN HIM DOWN! YOU CAN DO IT! YOU ALMOST GOT HIM!" we booed we laugh we stood up, our instructor was having a blast too! and at the end she pinned him down, it was hard for her because our instructor is freaking massive (And I'm not saying fat…) but she won, we stood up and clapped and shouted, she was extremely happy and got down the ring telling his father also the typical stuff "did you saw me! I was like YEAH TAKE THAT, and he was like OH NO MORE PLEASE!" her father was happy also and took her away to the car telling my partner that he will wait a little bit more, we all were so happy… until our instructor saw us and said "were you booing at me???" we said "well… yeah but, it's like… well…" —"Tomorrow we will have 5 hours training lucha libre style (the rough stuff) and NO BREAKS TO CATCH YOUR BREATH!!!". But it was worth it, we saw our instructor as a human being that time it was one of the best experience I had. Thanks for reading this guys!.
