I'm getting too emotionally attached to fictional characters, especially from anime. I hate when something bad happens to even the smallest of side characters, my hearts starts hurting to the point I don't want to watch it anymore in case their problems never disappear. I clean and reorganized my room today, it took me almost the whole day. There wasn't a lot to clean since I do that regularly, but I had trouble moving the table since some cables aren't long enough, but it worked out at the end and I'm glad I did it. Yes! I've acquired my own room recently so i've started watching a lot of anime and play a lot more games too. Recently i re-watched Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood (although i didn't like it nearly as much as the first time), started watching GJ-BU which is a pretty funny and lighthearted anime, i also watched fully Mawaru Penguindrum and yesterday i watched the whole second season of Attack of TItan. I also started playing even more Devil May Cry (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5itx4xS-1g shameless self-advertising!!) and yesterday started playing MGS5: The Phantom Pain and i am enjoying both a real lot.

I would suggest to try having a goal in mind, as in having a project to work on (whether it is yours or someone else's) as it really helps motivating and doing so will make you know exactly what you will need to learn. Getting the basic of it and then starting to work on something, even if it's nothing really serious, is how i've personally managed to learn all the stuff i do. I also experimented a lot of stuff with "if i did X, would that work?" in mind once i got a decent knowledge so that brought me even more knowledge! So if you really want to learn a lot you should do this too

That's nice, I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, I haven't watched any of those, but I'll keep them in mind for the future. My backlog is getting quite big now, but like I said it's very hot here and I'm not a summer person so I don't do much, but I've read that the heat will go down next week for good so I'll be in a better mood for watching and playing things.

That's nice to hear and don't worry about "advertising", I would give you a like if I had a YT acc. Devil May Cry looks like a fun game, I might give it a try after I finish Way of the Samurai 4 that I'm planning on playing next. Did you play previous MGS games? Are they essential for playing 5? I tried playing the demo when it came out, but my PC was struggling with it a bit, now I have a bit better GPU so I might be able to run it smoothly.

No it's not essential to play the others ones to play or enjoy the fifth one! In fact it's quite the opposite, MGS fans disliked The Phantom Pain a lot because story-wise it's lacking a lot of content when compared to the other ones, but it's still an amazing game with great gameplay

you don't necessarily have to try other's people project, you can always do something that will benefit yourself! In my case i coded something that would take Winamp's playlist files stored in their %appdata% folder, copy and rename them based on how i have named them (as the files in %appdata% have randomized names, but the name that is seen in winamp itself is stored inside the file). It's often fun to do and is always very pratical! I wish you good luck anon

That's very impressive and sounds very useful as well, the problem with me is that I can't think of anything do to by myself. Maybe when or if I'll have more advanced knowledge I'll be able to think a project like yours, that would benefited me.

Either is fine but mouse is preferred here because you benefit a lot from accuracy. I started with the controller but the lack of accuracy when it was very important to the game made me switch to mouse after an hour or so

Once you start getting more knowledge, you'll start realising that there are some things on your computer that could be done more efficiently through an automated script, and the more knowledge you get the more things you'll realise can be done! Even i with a lot of experience, when coding these simple programs, learn lots of new things and do a lot of mistake, only to learn from them even more! I don't doubt you'll find useful things that can be done through some scripts in the future.

Well, it depends a lot! For some small scripts that are made to save yourself some time or be useful to you, python is generally the best as it doesn't need to be compiled and isn't a very complicated language. Windows's batch is an even simpler language and allows to do much much less thing, but i personally use it a lot because it doesn't need compilation either but most importantly it works across all Windows computer, it just needs to be a .bat file. It's perfect for basic file moving, copying or deletion stuff, so i use it for my backup script

I do also use C++ a lot for these scripts, although it needs to be compiled it's still quite useful and not very hard to use, and it's the language i'm the most comfortable with so doing complicated things with it instead of Python is much easier for me

Thank you anon, I do drink a lot of water, make sure you do the same. I'm from Europe, Slovenia. It was 40 C or 104 F if you're American. Luckily it will only last until the end of the week and then it's supposed to get cooler and cooler every day.

Yes, but it's pretty specific. It's a group of friends i'm in, and the videos are entirely based on audio recordings of funny moments and such (with very private stuff in there) so it's not made public for the most part. These videos contains some simple drawings i made for everyone in the group of friends and these are used for additional comical effect, on top of "animation" as in putting the drawings on some background and using some of the audio recordings to produce something funny

Thats sounds like heaven, I wish it would be the same here. Generally it's around 30- 320 C during the day, but then there are weeks like this when it's insanely hot. Lucky I live next to a forest so it provides shadow over the house.

That's great, I'm very pleased to read this. I've downloaded Konosuba a while ago, but didn't get around to watch it yet. It's nice that you're so hooked into it, I have a problem where I marathon the first half, but then something happens to a character that I like and I'm scared of watching any further, I've dropped a lot of shows because of this.

Not much to be honest. I wanted to go cycling or at least take a long walk, but it's too hot and didn't feel like going anywhere in this heat. I did some things around the house and watched young birds learning how to fly, one flew directly into a wall :( but luckily he wasn't hurt. I wanted to look at the moon and stars today, but it got cloudy, it might even rain, I hope so since it would cool the air down a bit. And ummm please apologise my typos, I know I make them, but I don't see them until the post has already been posted. I imagine what I'm going to write in my head, I imagine a few things that then I put together in a sentence, but sometimes I get confused and write something that doesn't make sense or make some stupid typos.

I'm sorry to hear that, I don't have the best eyesight either. I have a telescope that helps me see things better, I quite enjoy looking at the sky, it's a beginner's telescope, but you can still see quite a bit. Also if you have binoculars you can use them, you can see more then you might expect with those.

You can get a beginners one like mine for a small about of money and they work just fine, I had mine for almost 10 years now and it still works like new. I know what you mean about being scared of space and if I'm being honest I'm a bit scared of it myself. It's scary how huge everything is and just how tiny we are and I get a bit spooked thinking about aliens sometimes as well, I know it's silly, but I can't help it. Sometimes when I look at the moon with the most powerful lens I have my heart starts pumping quite hard, especially when everything around it is completely dark black. There is a neat program that allows you to explore space, I quite like it myself, it's called Space Engine. I live in the middle of nowhere, but I don't mind it at all, I guess some might not like it though. There is a lot of animals around, I like that, but sometimes I get scared of their noises at night, some make really weird ones.

Thank you for suggestion anon, that's exactly what I did and I watch Totoro finally and I'm very glad I did. It also got a bit windy so I opened my window to get cool down a bit. Totora was great, full of positivity, innocence, magic and love. It was also a bit sad a one point and to be honest I teared up a bit, but at the end they were tears of joy. The soundtrack was also nice and I thought it was perfect for the setting. I wish we would live in a world so pure and filled with love and magic. I guess there already is a bit of magic in our world if you look closely enough.

Thank you, I did enjoy it, although I didn't go in the forest as planned since it was already getting dark and it's even darker in the forest. I did watch moon too, it was quite nice, you can see a lot and when you look up close those craters look very scary, it made me a bit uncomfortable watching them. I wanted to stay outside a bit longer, but there was a lot of annoying bugs like mosquitoes and some very weird ones as well.

The buildings are nice but the streets aren't very clean, there's a lot of homeless people / mugger and the car smell is pretty annoying, so it's not that great of a city to visit. There's also some specific parts of it that are really awful so it's really not a great city to be in, i don't like visiting it so much and i haven't really done it much in fact

It's not an awful city but it's nowhere near great, i've seen much better cities and i like the northen countryside much more, it's much more calm

There was a storm here earlier, although no lightning hit the house I still lost power. For a while I was scared something serious broke, but it ended up just being a fuse so it's fine now and the air is much better and cooler now thanks to the rain.

You should really watch it! It's a very soothing anime and it's OST is all the more soothing! It's focused on 4 girls in the countryside so there's not much action going on, it has some comedy here and here but is more focused on being a slice of life, so if you like calm things it's among the best animes around

I did and thank you for the warning, the moon was nice orange, almost red colour, but it wasn't very bright. Although you could still damage your eyes watching it through the telescope for a longer period of time, I wasn't outside for as long as I planned to since there were some mosquitoes around.

Hey anon, I've been fine. I visited a nearby castle in the noon and went for a jog just a while ago. It was quite nice, both of it and I've also played a bit of MGS5, not much though. There is a whole lot of cutscenes, I expected there to be, but not this much. I've also instaled M&B: Warband, a game that I quite like, so I'm looking forward to playing it a bit every now and then. And next week when I'm going to be alone I'll hopefully start learning how to code.

Yes they are, there is also a lake not too far from my house and there is tons of them coming from there, but at least autumn is around the corner so there won't be any mosquitoes for a while.

I went alone, well with my mother, but without a guide. The castles yard is open and you can just go in and sit and relax, you can also visit individual rooms, but most of them are currently closed thou to renovations work. I like the castle, but I imagine it's nothing special to the ones you can see in France, but it has a nice park and I like cycling to there..

That's true there's a lot of pretty castles in france, there's one in particular i've been a lot to as a child as my city owns it (even though it's a few hundred kms away), and as such allows local schools & local youth organisations to organise trips

That's how my old sleeping schedule used to be, now it's 23:00 - 9:00/10:00. I don't know how many hours I end up sleeping and how many just lying in bed, I think I get around 6 hours of sleep per night.

Yes it's quite far, well at least with small countries it doesn't take an awful lot of time to go from one end to another! Here it's hours of cars or train which is highly unconvenient if you have friends that live far away

It is yes, if you go early in the day you will be alone just about anywhere, it's really nice and you wont encounter any traffic on the was, well almost none so it's quite nice going somewhere with a bicycle. I hope everything will work and you won't have to deal with any crashes, I remember I tried modding Skyrim a couple of times, it always took me a couple of days for everything to work properly, I always installed way too much magic mods and when I was happy with all the mods I would play the game for 3h before getting bored of it :( . Hopefully that won't happen to you. I found two large wasp nest, one has around 20 wasps and the other at least 30. I don't really mind them as long as they leave me alone, but last month two stung me when I was just trying to water the garden.

Thank you anon, you're very kind. Lucky it didn't, but there were some close calls, but we did lose power for a few hours. Right after I posted and turned off everything it happened so there were no damage, at first I was planing to read a book, but since there were no power I didn't have a light, I tried looking of candles and I did find them, but I didn't find a lighter.

It was alright, thank you for asking. I took me around 2h to fall asleep and I woke up a couple of times during the night. Birds woke me up since they were making noise just outside my window, there is a garden there with a few sunflowers and birds like eating seeds from them. It's weird they prefer doing extra work and getting the seeds directly from the flowers where I've set up two feeders for them, hopefully they will get used to them soon. There was also surprisingly a lot of birds here this morning, there are usually around 30 just hovering above the house, mostly swallows, but today there were almost double that. I'm guessing they are getting ready to fly to warmer places.

Thank you anon, the trees that fell have to be removed and some that still stand need to be cut down since they are dangerous now. I think today I'll only pick smaller trees and bigger branches and tomorrow or in the next few days I'll help my dad remove the bigger ones. It's going to be "mushroom season" soon so there are going to be some people walking in those forests I imagine. I don't mind them that much if they don't come too close to the house and if they don't leave trash behind.

Yes it is, a lot of them live at my house and there is nothing near it so I guess that's why they like it, the closest house to mine is abandon so a lot of them also live there.

Thank you, I just came from the forest, but we didn't do much today, it started raining. It's nice when it rains in the forest, only a couple of drops reach you and the sound rain makes when hitting the leafs is really nice. There was a lot more damage done then I at first thought it was, we cleared about 20% of the mess, just smaller trees for now as larger need to be cut into smaller pieces.

I also played MGS5 earlier, but I've failed the first mission :( . I think I'll try it again later.

I'm very clumsy, I didn't even know you can slowly open the doors and I smash vases left and right. Also when someone sees me it's like a domino effect, I start panicking and get completely lost, I don't know what I'm even doing then.

I feel embarrassed about it and it happens without me really thinking about it. One time I was playing ETS2 and was imagining I picked up some hitchhikers and I was explaining them where I'm going and what I'm delivering and they would tell me where there were and are going and how their travels are so far. And I would honk at other trucks I would pass on the road, sometimes even give them a little nod or a tiny wave. At one moment I realized just how stupid everything is and I felt extremely embarrassed and so stupid that I don't feel like playing it again for a long time. I do that too, and on top of that my bed is facing the window so my room is constantly within 3 - 4°C of the outside temperature

That's great, my day has been fine, thank you for asking. I woke up a bit later than usual and had a bit of a back pain, but I took a longer shower and it's fine now. I put all the dried grass on one big pile so that I can put in in a bard later so that it will turn into hay. I did the same yesterday, well I was putting grass on smaller piles and today I just put it all together. It's not hard work, just a bit tedious since there is a whole lot of grasshoppers there, every time you take a step at least 20 jump, some even on you. Yesterday I even stepped in a ant nest, I didn't even noticed it at first, only just when they already started climbing my leg. Yes, my family lives in the city and I live alone on a farm in the middle of nowhere, they come and visit me every so often. Yes, it's quite nice if you don't mind being alone which I don't, I was never very social so it doesn't bother me and I don't have any real life friends either. It can be very time consuming though, you have to cook and clean all by yourself, but I don't eat much so it's not that bad. It can also get a bit spooky sometimes :(

I'm the same, I clean the house once or twice a week, just clean the dust really. It's the dishes that can be annoying to wash, I try and use as little dishes as possible when cooking.

The scariest are the screams that wild boars and deers make. Sometimes they get really close to the house and scream very loudly ;_;

There are there almost everyday, a few times I even found one sleeping in a open garage that's behind the house. We both got scared and ran in different directions, it's quite silly since they are peaceful animals.

No it's not too bad and I feel fine now, really nothing to worry about anon. Well the easiest way to explain so that it's just not working how it's supposed to, there is something wrong with my stomach and intestines. But like I said I'm used to it and I have pills if it hurts too bad.

Sometimes I eat frozen ones, but they are not all the good so I make it myself yes. It's not that hard, actually it's quite easy, I eat regular cheese pizza so there is not a lot that I can do wrong when making it. There is a lard bird making noise in the forest for a few hours now, I went to see what's going on, but I can't see anything. The screams are a bit sad so I hope everything is fine with him. At least the other smaller birds are all singing and there are a lot of them here now. We have a field with buckwheat and now seeds are falling out birds are here eating them, I don't mind them actually I'm quite happy for them. Yesterday I got too close to the field and scared one and he started a chain reaction where one by one all flew away on this tiny tree, it was quite funny seeing all of them on it. There really is a lot of them, I would say at least 60. I hope a pheasant or two come out of the forest too, I really like them. And it turns out I have all I need for pizza so I don't need to go to the store, I'm quite glad since it's quite far away, I usually don't mind cycling to there, but it's a bit hot today.

I made myself an omelette and i accidentally made a really good tasting one, i put a little bit of ketchup inside when i was mixing the eggs, it gave it an orange tint and a very very slight ketchup taste

I also accidentaly fried one side too, it was a quite dark orange

But it turns out both of those made the omelette taste very, very good, so i think i will start doing every omelette like that from now on

I watched King Kong for 2005, twice… There is a channel that plays it everyday and since I didn't have a PC I watched it. That's a shame, but walking itself is a nice activity. You know there is something embarrassing I do, when I'm alone and get bored and lonely I start daydreaming about all kinds of stuff. While I'm doing that I start walking, it keeps my imaginations a flow I think, I usually just walk up and down the house and sometimes around the yard. Don't worry, the worst that happens is a bruise or two if I fall or hit something. It is relaxing, it helps me escape into different worlds, but it's hard coming back to the real world after it and I always feel embarrassed and stupid afterwards.

That must be annoying, I have a couple of them in my room, but they keep to their corners and don't disturb me. It's annoying when I try to vacuum clean the room and I can't since I might suck them it the vacum cleaner by acident.

I went to the store I got most of what I wanted, but I did forget a few things as well… I did all the chores in the house and outside of it, I'm quite exhausted to be honest. I just came from a short walk I took in the forest, it was nice and relaxing and I had company. This guy was following me, but always stayed a few meters behind me and when I stopped he stopped. I really enjoyed him being there, I wish he comes again sometimes since we are friends and sometimes he comes to the house and even enters it.

It's been raining since I posted, it looks like it will stop soon, but everything is going to be wet and muddy for a few days so I won't mow it until the grass dries.

I haven't really done anything, I made myself a soup for breakfast/lunch, but besides that I was sitting in front of computer for the whole day and will probably sit here until the end of the day. I don't feel like doing anything to be honest.

Yes that's what i do, but i sleep a little bit later every day instead and try to take naps more often

Yes, there is quite a few of them here. There is an abandoned house near me and a lot of reindeers and deers lived there, but since someone came to tidy up a place a bit they all got scared and moved deeper into the forest. I'm sure they will move back there in a short while, they always do.

That's quite funny video, I never heard more than one screaming at once, their roars are also a bit deeper I think. One time, a few months I was reading a book outside on a swing that is attached to this tree that is on the edge of the forest. I had my legs on the swing and was completely silence and still so I'm guessing the deer couldn't see me and I didn't see him as I wasn't paying attention. All of the sudden he started roaring about 25, 30m away from me, it scared me and I feel of the swing, but at the same time he got scared of me and ran deeper in the forest.

There is a short puzzle game called Puzzle Agent that I quite like, it's not hard so even I was able to finish it and it has nice art style. And it also has the right amount of mystery and weirderst to really appear to me, maybe give it a try and see if you like it.

I ended up watching the two seasons of Owari no Seraph, it was quite disappointing because both seasons are incredibly slow with the story but the story is still interesting so it's not like i could just drop the anime

End of the season 2 ended up raising a very very big amount of question without answering any which frustrated me a lot, so i won't watch the 3rd season should it come out one day

That's completely fine, you don't have to apologise, I figured it's better to suggest you something you might not like than saying nothing. I like puzzle games myself, but I avoid them since I'm not very good at them and it's frustrating getting stuck on a puzzle and being unable to progress. Although I did like Talos Principle, it had nice puzzles that aren't hard at all, but I didn't care much about the story.

you should start with the first game, Professor Layton and the Curious Village, and just do them in the order of release should you want to play all of them

They were all released on Nintendo DS though so you will need an emulator!

Ohh I'm very sorry to hear that, I hope you won't get nightmares anymore, it must have been very unsettling. I had an alright night, I woke a couple times, but I don't feel too tired now and I had multiple dreams, one of them was kind of a nightmare, where my father was dying, but I was very far away from him and was trying to reach him to help him. I also had a quite bizzar and funny dream where I was a car mechanic and I would pretend I'm sleeping on a car and two cats would climb on top of me and start fighting. They could also talk and were arguing about cars, it was really weird.

I'm having a lot of fun with this Anime, it's called Overworld

It's an Isekai but does it much, much more differently than other isekais (other Isekais is generally about young neet getting teleported into fantasy world and having to beat the evil demon king, whereas in this one the main character is the demon king already in a game and the game becomes a real world overnight)

It's very interesting and very refreshing, i'm 4 episodes in and i like it a lot

If i like it enough i think i'll watch the manga

N-no! To be honest anon, that dream was quite pale in comparison with some other dreams I had in the past.
