Ron explained this on May 21 regarding Red Flag Laws, snuck into the unconstitutional Violence Against Women Act by democrats and Republicucks like Ted Cruz.
Biden was behind this bullshit and he should be criticized for it. He's the fucking anti-Christ.
VAWA expired 21 December 2018 due to the government shutdown: Trump successfully scored a major victory for 2nd Amendment rights there, intentionally or not. Perhaps they avoid celebrating it to keep the focus away from the "think of the wimminz" spin.
Jan 25 to Feb 15 it was temporarily put in place by a short term spending bill, but it's down again. HOR passed a bill in April re-authorizing it which the Senate haven't considered yet. It passed 263-158 and 33 Republicans supported it.

Browsing https://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/executive_calendar/2019/exec_calendar.htm you can see the numbers of upcoming calendars.
Number 66 happened on May 7: https://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/executive_calendar/2019/05_07_2019.pdf
Note they are trying to play the system. 1585 is the "Reauthorization Act" while this is the "Extension Act". They're pushing 2 separate versions simultaneously..

April/May is the last action I've seen, much like SASME (boycott Israel? you can't be a public school teacher, and pay them 38 billion) is also seemingly on hiatus, but these 2 dangerous bills could jump out of their lurking holes at any moment and be brought to dangerous life.
Right now it seems that Democratic HOR is holding up SASME while the Republican Senate is holding up VAWA, so there is a tenuous balance, but there are traitors on both sides wanting to sell us out.
