Most of the Yellow Vest protesters or revolutionaries there are regular folks from the city or countryside who have never been in a street fight and have no idea how to conduct themselves. People are losing hands picking up grenades and losing eyes to rubber bullets. They could use a crash course on how to act, what to bring that won't look suspicious, basic tactics to stay safe and identify targets. If any of you /k/fags have ideas for things we could put into infographics to help the cause please advise. -They can be used to push people (shooting rubber bullets) around without making direct contact, so you don't have to worry about getting grabbed.

-First aid kits are something that is sorely overlooked in situations like this. You need to have medics to treat you injured personnel on the scene. If a protestor dies due to police activity the cops and most media will spin it to justify the cops' actions.
It's great that they have the yellow vests though. It creates an image of unity without completely erasing each individual's identity in the crowd. Black bloc tactics are not popular with normies because it facilitates violent behavior by concealing bad actors.

You can see that any sharp blow delivered to the center of those shields is going to break the arm of the user. Real riot shields have a standoff to prevent that.
This shield is meant to be a template that you can crank out quickly and cheaply while still putting you on par with the average riot cop. The material requirements are minimal and everything that you don't already have on hand can be found in a hardware store.
As for the title block…it's the default for A size paper. I have to replace it but I haven't gotten around to that yet and I didn't want to futz with that detail right now.

Are the yellow vests just larpers looking to throw a hissy fit? Surely they've had enough time to force some changes by now. You don't need to get into fist fights with cops every weekend, you just focus on shutting down major infrastructure. Block a bunch of roads and train tracks all at the same time and you drag things to a halt. Fly a drone over the airports, park a row of vans in front of supply depos. They can't defend all these places at once and you cause so much disruption they have to surrender to you or have an actual riot going on. As much fun as dancing with the police is you're not doing anything of value by doing so. Disrupt everything you possibly can and constantly be on the run. When vital services can't get through any more and super markets don't have food a revolution is forced. Even go full psy ops and have a group of "hardcore anonymous" types saying they're going to start randomly poisoning milk until demands are met. you could probably bolt on a thin piece of steel or scrap metal and have some level of ballistic protection, the wood would give it a sturdy support/reinforcement which would strengthen it considerably.
this would add several pounds to the shield, but it would also be much safer and reliable in terms of not getting shot and or breaking bones in your upper body.
you could also make a defacto juggernaut suit via straps, padding and lengths of steel bent to your appendage dimension (arms, legs, chest, neck, etc)
