It's about the same that has been said for two decade from Ruskie sauce and KE APFSDS speeds and armor penetration fits Russian ammo specs at 2000m (1665 m/s being the Russian current rounds out of any of their upgraded tank, 1450 m/s being soviet rounds out of a T-64).

The Armata KEW is over 1850m/s, although that's mostly the cannon. It's more powerful than the 120mm L/55.

They should never have been allowed to die. Besides, once we've got sponsons back as standard issue on tanks it's not much further to get to the point where the crews are issued sabres and encouraged to use them as close in antipersonnel weapons.

But this tank was designed by/for Americans, not by/for the Russians, who are actually crazy enough to try that. Remember that it's only the low turret traverse speed that's stopping them from using a tanks main gun as a missile defence system.

Dude you what? Older soviet rounds had even lsiglty more velocity than more modern. These velocity values are with range velocity decay taken into account. Soviet APFSDS AFAIK lost about 150m/s per 1 km.

On NATO manuals you often values that differs widely from soviet testing because it came from NATO testing ammo they found, while the soviets tested the ammo "as designed" and not "as mass produced". And soviet quality control was only bad to terrible.

The opposite is also true, in soviet manuals 105mm penetrators couldn't make a dent on a T-72…

Burger Tanks don't have armor. Only folds of fat from the spics that inhabit the insides of the Tank. Think about it, have you ever seen an Abrams crewmember outside their Tank before? They never leave because their fat is their protection.
