It doesn't work like that.
The more heat rises, the more ice melt.
The more ice melt the more earth gets cold.
Ice is pure water. Sea water is salted.
Pure water is less dense than salter water.
Salted water sinks. Pure water rise.
BUT
Ice is cold water. Sea water is hotter.
Cold pure water sinks. Hot salt water rise.
This creates intense oceanic currents, which in turn largely creates the weather, pure cold water sinks (from the pole especially the Arctic), hot salt water (from the Equator. more sun = more heat = more evaporation = more salt).
The minute there isn't enough ice is the minute the Gulf-stream stops and the minute Europe turns into Canada/Russia, which will cool the whole planet, until the thing will go the other way by itself due to salinity.
It's basic elementary school physics.
The earth as a geological environment is a fucking self regulated system. It's laughable that anyone believes humanity can fuck with it when it can withstand comet impacts and mass volcanoes and cataclysms that makes the entire human nuclear arsenal look like a sneeze (let alone CO² production).
