Ron DeSantis (Florida 6) and Marco Rubio (Florida) are now considering legislation to repeal the NFA. Now we need to push this. It's much easier to get politicians on board with other people's legislation than to start new stuff, and other supporters will push the two of them towards introducing it.

Call the offices of your Congressman and Senators. Tell them you want them to co-sponsor this legislation (also Hearing Protection Act/House bill 367/Senate bill 59 and Concealed Carry Reciprocity/House bill 38). Calling is good because they have to spend staff time listening to you, and staff time is (very) limited. Better yet, visit your local office if it is local enough (you may need an appointment, call first). Email is lowest tier (but better than nothing) because it can be sorted by computers, who effectively have no limit, and minimize human eye time.

>I don't know my Congressman

http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/

>I live in Florida('s 6th district)

Even better! Tell them you want it.

The hardest part has been done for you, so call and we can unleash the power of BURNING AMERICAN FREEDOM!

The only funny part of Rubio's campaign was finding out that all of his staffers were so certain that he'd win that they spent more time jockeying and backstabbing for presidential appointments than they did campaigning.

5beee3 No.497481

I am really usually the type in favor of removing black pills, but let's be honest: This bill is going no where.

There are a mix of three things that could potentially happen that are NEEDED for this to work.

>Republicans need to uncuck themselves and amend internal Senate rules to become a majoritarian legislative body.

>Republicans need to win a super majority in the mid terms.

>Republicans need to get all of the moderates and RINOs on board.

Pick two. Otherwise, it's not happening. And let's be honest, none of those things are particularly likely, much less more than one.

Wanna uncuck American law? Go to the states and work on passing enough Constituional Carry in enough states to add it to the US Constitution. Do some work in FOSSCAD to continue to make NFA regulations irrelevant or at least bypassable. Support grass root organizations that are behind enemy lines in unfree states. Prepare your small tight nit militia squad and community for when SHTF to make good headlines after disaster and prepare for however many cycles from now it is when the left eventually regain power.

I want the ATF/NFA/GCA gone as much as anybody else, and more. But let's focus our effort and hopes on things that work instead of getting motivated and subsequently demotivated when pie in the sky shit we didn't think through falls through. Not understanding how government works is the job of leftists, leave that to them. Show some dignity.

a83a06 No.497492

>>497481

There is one major obstacle to passing this bill: It hasn't been introduced. Every other problem is smaller in comparison. Let's clear that one first, because from there it will only gain momentum.

5beee3 No.497514

>>497492

Not really. That is how politicians give up and win free brownie points for nothing and say, "Oh we tried but they were obstructing us and hate freedom, what are we to do?" and people eat it up. It's a scam of your time, money, and energy. They can't be serious about any conservative non-budgetary agenda without fixing the Senate or winning more seats. One of them they have the power to do right now. This guy

>>497204

was right. I'm not going to waste my energy on politicians whipping me up in a frenzy so they can pose for a camera and do better on election day. Fuck that. There are a lot of better ways, as I have mentioned, to spend my 2A effort on things that are actually meaningful and possible.

Our governor's election is coming up so it'll be between Ed Gillespie (R, cuckservative, former RNC chairman) and Ralph Northam (D, don't know much about him).

This state has been getting steadily more and more shit over the past decade and it's fucking infuriating.

Our """representatives""" haven't done much in regards to restricting gun rights yet, but it's only a matter of time when the urban zones are becoming more populated with California tier hipsters.

Hell ,there's been talk of dismantling the confederate statues on Monument Avenue in Richmond because nogs and college kids (most likely from out of state) got offended, which not only erases history, but defeats the entire purpose of Monument Avenue.

In the western states you can already get 100+ year old old Iver-Johnsons for 100/200 USD easily. I'm sure Congress would shut the idea of "100 year old guns are legal antiques" hard as soon as someone brought up old cartridge revolvers. With Machineguns and destructive devices already excluded from "antique firearm" and original Auto-5/Mondragon/ZH29/RSC M1917 being rare/expensive as fuck, the only (relatively) cheap non-manually operated long gun that will be over 100 anytime soon is the M1. The M1 wouldn't fall under "antique" till 2032 and won't become common till the 2040s (Politicians will quickly ignore any "problem" when they realize it won't happen till long after they're gone) and will be over 1000+inflation by then.

Trump has officially and publicly endorsed Dr. Kelli Ward. Both this year and last she has confirmed she would introduce legislation to repeal the NFA if elected and given her history of getting rid of state legislation mirroring the NFA, I doubt she'd go back on that.

Also asked Judge Moore's campaign in Alabama if he would introduce the legislation. They said they didn't know but would ask. Called back and said it was passed to senior advisors.

Oh and I got a survey from the RNC (Pretty sure it's because I bought a MAGA hat). Made sure to tell them I wanted it at every possible point.

Hello, old man here. I'm new to this /k/ and didn't know if it would be appropriate to publish a N-SSA recruitment thread here without getting banned. I wanted to ask before posting one to be polite. We are badly in need of new members, and I know many people here might be interested in joining. I'd love to give full details, but again, I'd like to make a thread for it. Is that ok with the moderation team, you think?

I don't know, do you think we just let any old leaf post around here?

I think as long as you're not an obnoxious faggot about it then it would be fine.

It's definitely /k/ related (probably moreso than a lot of recent threads).

This board is pretty tiny though, so even if the vols approve don't expect more than a handful of anons to actually follow through.

4d9bc5 No.530968

>>530860

They do have it as official proposals (I've even met DeSantis personally). It's a lot easier to convince congressmen to join on something already happening (however little it has happened so far) than do it entirely on their own. Besides, if your congressman is officially "(R)", forcing the NFA issue is a good way.

If all else fails, Ward is pretty much set to be Arizona's senator in 2019.

Not to mention that Rubio is anti gun and was just goying op.

lel there has never been anyone to moderate, the vol chips in occasionally and the BO is dead.
