I'm an American going to visit family I've never met before. What should I know about your country before going?

watch out for your wallet in public places, no cellphone or camera near the train station, no fancy clothes, no fake taxis, only those parked on yellow lines with taxi sign on top.

ENJOY

Don't give spare change to gypsies or niggers.

Seriously, don't, you'll end up feeding the cancer.

Also, whenever you go to a supermarket or grocery stores, expect niggers to be there asking for money, obviously tell them to fuck off.

In much better tones, try to avoid buying food at supermarkets if you want to sample genuine things, try to see if you find small shops that sell classic italian foods, like schiacciata, arancini, pizza and the like.

If I were you I'd research the region I am going to, this way you'll know the local specialties and will be able to enjoy the culinary wonders of Italy because let's be honest, nobody can eat as good as us.

Oh and gyipsies may try to buy a ticket for you at automated ticket machines as a "favor", just tell them to fuck off to begin with, they will try to steal your change.

>What should I know about your country before going?

Maybe you could tell us which region you're going to visit first. Italy is divided down the middle, true, but even with that simplification there's like a world of difference even with neighboring cities. Be more specific, please.

All these are true, also NEVER:

>eat at Tourist Restaurants, you'll recognize them almost immediately since they're the only ones who speak any semblance of English on their menus and look like your stereotypical Italian shit, just ask the locals for the best ye ole Trattoria or Pizzeria

>stop in the middle of the highway if you're traveling by car and you hear a cracking noise or see a dent on your vehicle, 9 out of 10 times it's some gypsy trying to scam you or even worse

>offend the locals, especially if you're planning on visiting the movida, you're literally dead meat the moment you do so in most cities (townsfolk are quieter)

>speak proper burger talk but try your best to CONVEY what you want to tell the locals, most people, including the youngsters who claim to speak English fluently, can't even recognize an American accent from a British one, your best bet is to either go full WopJitsu, draw or physically hint at the object or concept you're trying to spell or speak in broken Italian as much as you can. If you know Spanish it also kinda sorta works

Also make sure to visit local Panetterie (a Baker's that doesn't sell the terrible shit you could buy in underdeveloped countries like France) and make sure to befriend some locals as well to have some sort of base of operation to get back to if you're in trouble. Also, at least down South, there'll be plenty of people who'll try to park your vehicle for you, just give them an Euro once you come back from whatever you're trying to do, trust me, it's for your own good. Unless they're niggers, in that case you can just ignore them.

this book is a phony but I really like using its cover

very good advices

>If I were you I'd research the region I am going to, this way you'll know the local specialties and will be able to enjoy the culinary wonders of Italy

and this very much so. you can find different kind of street food depending on the city you're in, not just the region.

We don't put a sweaty man's armpits over delicious bread. Had it been a 2hu, that could have been great, but you haven't truly lived until you've tried homemade Italian bread.

Seriously, those assholes back in the gamergoiym threads don't know what they're talking about, them and their moldy American breads.

A word of advice, then. If you visit around Florence, or in Tuscany and Umbria in general, the "normal" bread you'll buy in bakeries will be saltless. All of the salt we had went into cold cuts, like prosciutto and capocollo.

All the niggers I see are capable of speaking french just fine, while none can actually speak italian without making a jumble of words.

France is a fucking disgrace upon the world, if you didn't exist nobody would even notice, you're an atrocious boil upon the planet's surface.
