Goodbye everyone!

9ea840 No.44469

I like Muslim culture. I think it is healthier in terms of not being as materialist, and having a more traditional understanding of men and women.

However, I believe that Jesus was God in human form and he was crucified. That is really my only hang-up. I had two very religious experiences. One was God sent Saint Mary Magdalene to introduce me to Jesus, and to set an example of a good follower of Him. God said she would always be with me. The second was God told me he would always be with him.

In this experience, it was never directly said that Jesus was God, though, but I just assumed so because I was raised Christian, but moved away from it.

I feel disconnected from my culture, I guess. I often feel sad and lost. God is a great comfort for me. He has helped me, and He is great.

Thank you for listening to my trouble, brothers and sisters. God bless you.

18. Surah Al-Kahf (The Cave)

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

1. All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has sent down to His slave (Muhammad) the Book (the Qur'an), and has not placed therein any crookedness.

2. (He has made it) Straight to give warning (to the disbelievers) of a severe punishment from Him, and to give glad tidings to the believers (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a fair reward (i.e. Paradise).

3. They shall abide therein forever.

4. And to warn those (Jews, Christians, and pagans) who say, "Allah has begotten a son (or offspring or children)."

5. No knowledge have they of such a thing, nor had their fathers. Mighty is the word that comes out of their mouths [i.e. He begot (took) sons and daughters]. They utter nothing but a lie.

Jesus is a son of God, David is a son of God, Jacob is a son of God and so on. This is not islam. This is christianity. This is judaism.
