White man here. If I convert, am I allowed to date qt Arab and East Asian women, or is there still a weird racial hang-up that will cause me problems?

Yes

There is no "racial hang-up" in Islam. We do not worship skin color or nationality.

Aren't Arabs supposed to be a superior race according to the Quran? OP marrying Arab women would be haram if he's not an Arab. Just look how hard it is for a non-Arabs to be citizens in Saudi Arabia. I don't think they can even legally marry Arab women.

>Aren't Arabs supposed to be a superior race according to the Quran?

Nope.

"And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge." [30:22]

"All humans are descended from Adam and Eve. There is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab, or of a non-Arab over an Arab, and no superiority of a white person over a black person or of a black person over a white person, except on the basis of personal piety and righteousness." Muhammad (pbuh) in his Last Sermon, Masnud, Hadith no. 19774.

You might also want to consider that Arabs are <15% of the world's Muslims. Arabs don't define Islam. You might find a Muslim who drinks alcohol or watches porn, but does that mean Islam says such things are good? Nope! Always consider the source.

Maybe, but Islam can still be considered Arab supremacist in the same way Christianity is European supremacist. It originated with the Arabs, and its practice is mostly heavily influenced by Arab culture. In addition, most Arab empires enforced a strict caste system, prohibiting people of 'lower' castes from intermarrying with people of 'upper' castes. This is also the reason they castrated their black slaves from Africa.

>Arabs <15% of the world's Muslims

Englishmen are a very small proportion of the world's population, and yet English is the most widely spoken language in the world. Japanese comprise a very small proportion of East Asia's population, and yet they were able to impose their rule over that region during the early twentieth century. You don't have to be the numerical majority to be the dominant political or cultural force. Just look at pre-Apartheid South Africa.

>Islam can still be considered Arab supremacist

No, it really can't. Both Qur'an and Hadith prove it is not nationalist in any way. Anyone who interprets it as such is wrong and should be corrected loudly and often. Yes, it did originate in the Arab peninsula, but it was made very clear from the beginning - in the lifetime of the Prophet - that beginning there does not mean "chosen" or "special". There is no supremacy in Islam except through piety, not through nation or skin.

Nationalism and Racism are specifically mentioned in Islam as being wrong, haram, sinful, against God. "Well, people do it anyway." isn't an argument for Islam condoning these things. Your argument comes down to this: The law says it's a crime to steal, but people steal anyway, so stealing isn't against the law.

It makes no damn sense.

>Christianity is European supremacist

What are you talking about? Christianity started in the Levant as a Jewish cult. Europeans weren't involved at all except in the sense that there was sort of a weak and not very respected Roman presence in the region at the time. Today, Europeans make up only 26% of all Christians, with 25% living in Latin America and the Caribbean, 24% living in Sub-Saharan Africa, and 13% living in Asia and the Pacific. 12% live in North America, but white Christians are only roughly 43% of the US population, and of that, many are cultural Christians who barely even believe at all. Black Christians are by far the most religiously observant group among American Christians, and black Americans are more likely to identify as Christian than white Americans. That's not even mentioning that Ethiopia was one of the first nations in history to make Christianity its official state religion, even before Rome (Armenia was the first, but while it's geographically Asian, Armenians tend to align themselves more with Europe than with Asia). So, Christianity is hardly European in nature.

Are these Arabs committing a sin by assigning a 'dishonorable' status to interracial relationships? If not, then its not sinful for, say, a white man not to want to marry a black women either.

I think if a person simply isn't attracted to a specific race they're not obliged to marry that race.

Concerning mixed race marriage- it seems too general a topic to make a statement about. Generally though, racism is a thing of ignorance and is disliked.

The misnomer is "race". It implies that there are delineations between human "races". We are all the same race.

Now, if you're not attracted to darker skin, fine. If you're not enamored by blue eyes, fine. But when you start thinking of people with different skin as being a different species, then there's a problem.

White convert here. Theoretically it shouldn't be a problem, but there is a lot of racism in the Islamic community. Most fathers I know have problems with their daughters marrying converts and want their daughters to marry inside their own culture. This is especially the case for Turkish people, Levantine people (Syrians, Lebanese and Palestinians). Maghrebis are a bit more tolerant but still very closed. Black Muslims are unironically chill and dont mind their daughters marrying converts.

If you really want to date, and not marry, an Arab qt I'd advise you to date/marry an Arab christian girl. Since youre not Muslim and Arab christians are a lot chiller in this interracial regard than Arab Muslims. You'll also have alot less of cultural conflict.
