Hey Anons, I am a revert and I decided that I want to move to Oman, but because of Omanisation it's hard, very very hard to find a job. And my nationality will make it even more difficult, what are other good Muslim countries to move to?

btw I have a CS degree if anyone will ask in here.

Yeah, Sweden is generally the joke answer when people ask about Muslim countries. If you're serious, though, you need to first figure out why Oman. What draws you to Oman? What sets it apart from other countries?

It's a very peaceful place, irrelevant for the most of the world. Which is a plus for me, it has a high living standards, and also it's good place for Black people(many Omanis are Black and they are a good part of the population), I know it sounds ridiculous, but this is my biggest fear, to go to a country and be hated because of skin color. But ofc that is not the only reason, peaceful and stable, good living standards and Islamic.

Well, I don't know about skin color, but most Omani people are Arab, not African. Also, it's an Ibadhi country, so you'll have a tough time finding a mosque if you're Sunni or Shi'a - but there is freedom of religion in Oman, so you don't have to be Ibadhi.

It's also very tribal, which has nothing to do with skin color, but you'll have to earn a place somewhere. It's not an easy country to migrate into.

Anyway, that aside, if you're looking for an alternative to Oman, you could move to rural UAE.

Yeah, most people are Arab ofc, but there is a sizable African one too and they are accepted part of community with no real racism that we usually hear in MENA countries, and for me it was a big plus.

About the Tribal part, exactly like what you said, eventually I will find a place.

>It's not an easy country to migrate into

Yep, if I find a wife there I need to stay for 15 years and have a son, and if alone for 20 years. But it's a process I was willing to do, the major problem is Omanisation, basically means that all jobs will be manned by Omani people, there is nothing wrong with not being dependent on expats anymore and I am happy for them, but that means that getting a job as a foreigner no matter race or religion is hard.

>Anyway, that aside, if you're looking for an alternative to Oman, you could move to rural UAE

What are the pros of living there Akhi?

You can make a Twitter account and message him about tips and details on migration.

Well from what I know it's not a good thing lol, although in Sahih Muslim ghuraba is talked about as something good lol. But Inshallah I will find a place, and stupid things like skin color will be worthless.

If you're legitimately being oppressed and are finding it to live, then thats a good reason. But if its just because you want an easier life to practice your religion without judgement, in my opinion you should rethink your decision. Not only will it be a disservice to all the other Muslims with the same struggles there, but also to our non-Muslim brothers and sisters in humanity whos souls are crying for Islam, who need to be shown the way.

>who need to be shown the way.

This is pretty ridiculous. That is, the thought that "I'm living in kufri lands solely so I can convert other people to Islam." This is just an excuse people make to not migrate to Islamic lands. If people are honest with themselves, only a very tiny minority of people actually believe this. And on the off chance that someone does convert because of you, you won't get the reward for it unless your intention is 100% to convert him since actions are based on intentions, and you only get the reward if you intend for something. None of this "someone saw me acting in a good way and became Muslim so I get rewarded." Migrating to Islamic lands is wajib.

Also:

>just because you want an easier life to practice your religion without judgement.

Nothing wrong with doing this. Allah won't reward you for purposely making things difficult for yourself. If there is a place where a Muslim can practice his religion more easily, he must go there.

Imam Malik said that if a person resides in an Islamic land, an Islamic state, and Islamic Khilafah, however in this particular land, many corruptions are found and he is unable to change it, and he isa able to travel to another (Islamic) land which condemns corruption, then this is obligatory upon him!
