Don't know about you, but the khutba in my country is scripted by the government, and so you'll here the same old thing over and over again. Important subjects such as riba' and (Western) ideological infiltration are comfortably ignored.

Where are you? The khutba in my country is mostly scripted by the govt as well but those important subjects are always touched. You can say it became the same old thing over and over again.
