That's perfectly normal, nonetheless make sure you're lowering your gaze as much as you can, remember first look is cool but if you look again its a sin. Fasting helps, but getting married is the only permanent solution.

It's a pain, you just have to get used to it, this society isn't built for men who actually have testosterone.

Start working out more and/or take up active hobbies.

Focus that energy to something productive and always try to remind yourself that Allah is watching.

Drink soy milk out of plastic bottles 10-12 times a day. Once all the testosterone is gone, you'll be fine.

Why waste a good testosterone level that is a blessing and replace it with xenoestrogen? He should just get married, I can recommend free dating sites if OP is interested. I advise him first to be able to provide for two people at least before marriage.

Go to the masjid and ask if any brother has a sister or daughter ready for marriage, else seems dating apps are your only solution.

Doing a bit of exercise when you get those feelings will wear you down a bit and once you have spent your energy, you won't feel the same or feel like doing anything.

Testosterone isn't the main problem here. What you need is more self-control and discipline. If you're having too much trouble, you can also try reading from the Quran when these thoughts come to you. Maybe pray a bit of Nafl. Remembrance of Allah will help drive away those thoughts, Inshallah.

Also, avoid 'dating apps'. If you think you're ready to get married, speak to your elders about it. Maybe let some uncles/brothers in the masjid know that you are hoping to get married. You don't have to necessarily ask them directly if they have a family member you can marry. Just let them know and ask if they can help with your search.

I’ve participated in both formal and informal masjid nikah services. My point is it’s too forward to approach brothers after jummah about marrying into their family. That’s just completely inappropriate and youre not showing yourself or them enough respect. If you have a tight relationship with someone then hey that’s different. But most times people will just put the word out to the Imam that they or a relative are looking for a spouse, that’s it.

The formal marriage events can be fun too.

But as a twice married revert, once to a US citizen and once to a foreign national my suggestion is threefold:

>put out word to imam and close friends ie friends you spend time with not just at masjid

>Make a profile on Muslima or HalfOurDeen and just see if any opportunities present themselves

>Get /fit/ and a little /fa/ and flex in that parking lot or community dinner, son. If your community is big enough you will have sisters that go to their walis to express interest

And my key lifehack was to decide where I wanted to retire and vacation every year and marry a sister from there. That’s what I did and now I have my whole plan. But damn it was tough doing all

the immigration red tape but I got here to be a permanent resident now.

Your meme is wrong.

The Prophet PBUH said “There is no (reward for) fasting (for him) who fasts perpetually.”

The Prophet PBUH said: “The best fasting is the fast of Dawood: he used to fast one day and not the next.”

The Prophet PBUH said, "Do not practice Al-Wisal (fasting continuously without breaking one's fast in the evening or eating before the following dawn)." The people said to the Prophet, "But you practice Al- Wisal?" The Prophet PBUH replied, "I am not like any of you, for I am given food and drink (by Allah) during the night.”

Depends what you want. My first wife was salafi, wore niqab and everything. She let me know she was disabled and had three kids. I didn’t care, she had ilm and akhlaq. It turns out she was just testing me, she was 20 y.o. Virgin. I never saw her picture and chose not to have her remove her niqab for me until after marriage and alhamdulillah she was like hoor al ayn. Our marriage lasted a year, we were both 20, my family was not supportive, it was too hard and i was immature. It took me ten years before I remarried using my geographical strategy and I am happy.

My first wife was a refugee who grew up in the US. My current wife was studying english in US. I benefit greatly from having a muslim extended family now. In general now i’m wary of refugees marrying reverts unless the reverts families are very supportive. This is because the refugee family network is to a large degree shattered and needs the stability of supportive (preferably Islamic) in-laws and even a larger muslim ‘clan’ structure, not the fraught relationship a typical judeochristian/atheist family has in interactions - at least early on - with adult revert children.

>seems like a hassle

I wish I’d chosen a country with a good Visa agreement with the USA. The only muslim country with no Visa required is Brunei. I would definitely consider a wife from there but I’d imagine they fetch a hefty price like non-Yemeni khaleeji women and are likewise prohibitively costly to maintain.

So while there is only one muslim country with visa free access to USA there are some other muslim countries with visa free access to US citizens. Pic related. For this reason along with the mediterranean climate/location and the cheap cost of living I think Tunisia and Morocco are the best bet for western reverts that want foreign wives. I know this is popular for reverts in europe. And anyone who does this will be my neighbor and can chill with me in Algeria inshaAllah.

Shukran for the info akhi, very relevant experience. But these women of north africa, don't they want to migrate and settle in the west? I have had uncles get screwed over because of bringing their moroccan wife in the west. I wonder if they would accept their husband living with them in their home country.

Unless you have the means to start a business in north africa or work from home there, or are just plain wealthy then I don’t think it’s a good idea to live there. The USA is a good place to work and an awful place to retire. Work here, play there. Marrying a foreign wife usually means she comes to live with you, hijra to a muslim land is a separate convo and one I am not knowledgeable in. I’d imagine marrying makes hijra harder, unless again you are wealthy or can work from there. I have a blue collar job and would struggle immensely if I did my same job in Algeria. My brother and sister in laws are both doctors and they are just getting by.

Oh brothers try to avoid north africans, most will fake being a good muslim wife for a visa and money.

The number of true muslims in north african countries is heavily decreasing because of the media. The countries are just 70 years late versions of the usa, people (think they) are >>>>>woke because feminism, freedom of speech, drugs alcohol prostitution.. a huge majority of adults born after 1980 there have already gave up on Islam

People were saying the same thing 20 years ago and it’s still 99x easier to find a wife in a 99% muslim country than a 1% muslim one. And thirty years ago there were literally marxist muslim countries - they’re gone now. While there are always going to be problems we have the ability to return to Allah swt as long as we are breathing. That goes true on the society level too. The same wind that seems like it will extinguish the candle of Islam will one day only fan the flames of a revival.

Whitoid here, communists in our countries were so retarded they basically put Eastern Europe into a cultural refridgerator. For all of their educating women they were never able to destroy gender roles as much as the liberal West was able to, probably because under a non-market economy there is no profit motive to dissolve the community into atomised consumerist labour units. Marxism-Leninism is better for your religion existing among the average person than what we're exporting to you now, trust me.
