What is your opinion on Din-i-Ilahi? Its basically a combination of Islam and Hinduism that the Mughal Emperor Akbar created. From what I can gather it combines islam with the bhakti vedanta.

I can say right away that syncretism is retarded. Pick a path and stick to it's purest, orthodox form. If you aren't born an indian and in the caste system then hinduism isn't really for you, it's a very closed religion.

It was created as a political tool by Akbar to please both his subjects who were mostly native Hindus and his army and administrators who were of Islamic origin(They mostly were of Afghan or Persian descent, ironically even Akbar himself despite his popularity of being an 'Indian' emperor had no Indian blood in him, he was half Persian, quarter Turkic and quarter Mongolian.

But given that we know all pagan religions are a perversion of Monotheism (what the Europeans called Urmonotheismus) my gut tells me Brahma/Brahman/Brahmin is likely a satanic pagan perversion of Rahma/Rahman/Ibrahim.
