So ive been thinking alot about islam recently and i have a few questions.
If god doesnt need to be worshipped why is he making us. Doesnt that seem a little arrogant considering a person who fails to worship correctly is doomed forever. And who asked to be created.
Can someone give me a hadeeth where the prophet tells us to pray how we do today because where did we get it from. How do we know to pray as we do.

God is not a man in the sky demanding to be worshipped.
God is Truth. And Truth has certain universal laws that must be adhered to. If you do not, you are doomed, not because of a jealous God but because anything that is not in accordance with Natural Law will ultimately self-destruct.
God is saving you from doom.

>If god doesnt need to be worshipped why is he making us.
I can only speculate, but I believe it is because God's nature is to create.
>Doesnt that seem a little arrogant considering a person who fails to worship correctly is doomed forever.
Human morality does not apply to God. The reason we cannot be arrogant is because it is harmful to us, because God is the greatest and we are at his mercy.
Here are some sahih hadiths that describe the way to pray:

Also akh since you're new to chans, a word of advice: it's disliked to provide your name/email if it isn't relevant.

oh sorry haha. I want to know who tells us to recite for example al fathah than a surah for two rakas, then just al fatiha for the next two raqas for like fajr. Who said that? And also, isnt it kind of like………..mean to create something and then like……………burn it for eternity.

but that doesnt make sense to me because then why create us anyways. Say i created a living thing and told it what to do. If it disobeyed i would punish it for eternity. doesnt that sound evil.

There's a step you're missing in there.
You create a thing.
You tell it what to do and tell it that if it dies in disobedience, then it will be punished forever.
It disobeys.
You forgive it and tell it not to do it again.
It disobeys again.
You forgive it and tell it not to do it again.
It disobeys again, then it dies.
You warned it.

First of all, God doesn't owe us anything. If He simply created us and immediately put us into the hellfire, even then we wouldn't have any right to complain. We have no right to "judge" God by human standards. Look at the universe. To the immense creation of God, we are literally insignificant. But God Himself has decided to give us significance.
But the fact that God is ready to forgive us even after we sin again again, the fact that He wants us to return to heaven, the fact that He gives us so many chances to be pardoned is proof that He is the most merciful.
How long does an average person live? How many times does he commit sins? How many times does he get the chance to repent?
With every single breath that we take, we inhale far more than even trillions upon trillions of air molecules. If we were to thank God for each and every single air molecule we breath in, we wouldn't be able to finish thanking him in our lifetime.
No amount of worship that we do can ever be enough. Even so, He is ready to grant us pardon, He is ready to reward us. He decreases our sins and increases our good deeds. We need our worship, for our own good. God Himself has no need of anything.
God sent us to this world for a short test. Even so, He sent numerous messengers over the ages to constantly remind us about this test. He constantly pushed us towards the path of goodness. Even after that, if someone goes astray, he'll only have himself to blame and he'll face the consequences of his own actions.
Adi ibn Artah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah has angels whose limbs shudder from fear of him. No angel among them sheds a tear from his eye but that it falls upon another angel glorifying Allah. There are angels in prostration since Allah created the heavens and the earth. They have not raised their heads, nor will they raise them until the Day of Resurrection. There are those bowing who have not raised their heads, nor will they raise them until the Day of Resurrection. There are those praying in rows who have not dispersed their rows, nor will they disperse them until the Day of Resurrection. Thus, on the Day of Resurrection, their Almighty Lord will appear before them, they will look upon him and they will say: Glory be to you! We have not worshiped you as you deserve to be worshiped!”

Grade: Hasan (fair) according to Ibn Kathir
Even angels who have worshipped Him relentlessly since they came into existence, will, on the day of judgement, say that they weren't able to worship Him as He deserves to be worshipped. And here we are. Lacking in worship, lacking in sincerity, lacking in adab, etc. And there are still people who make such bold claims as you've made in your posts.

And you got more than enough answers in here for the questions you asked. Read more from the Quran and Sunnah and eventually, things will become even more clear, Inshallah.
"And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me."(51:56)
What we know about Allah, we know only from what He has revealed to us. Beyond that, we can have no certainty about His will.

Allah hasn't told us why he created us, but the worthy shall prosper and the unworthy shall rot. To reject the absolute truth of God is to reject one's own existence, so naturally those who do will be reduced to suffering nothings

Why should we pray? Because just like your body needs to be bathed and cleaned daily, so too does your soul need to be purified.

Nope. You create a thing, and it doesn't perform as you intended? That means your design and building skills aren't as good as you thought they were, but maybe with practice you can become a better creator. Recycle, retry…

The whole point of this creation is to be a test. Humans are created and then are tested in this testing ground. Everything is as it was intended, even if it doesn’t pass the test. There is a punishment for failing the test, and a reward for passing it. This concept is so simple even a child can understand it.

Saying "test" is like saying you'll just get a letter grade and a place in the afterlife. In reality you get the priviledge of being seen by and pleasing the Most Majestic Perfect Being there ever is, will be and can be by proving you believe and love Him.

‘Test’ is an accurate word for describing the life of this world. What you said is true, but everyone will be held accountable for every single action that they had taken during their life. So it isn’t a letter grade, but everything will be placed on the scales of justice and their deeds will be weighed, both good and bad.
[Quran 21:47] And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be treated unjustly at all. And if there is [even] the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant.

I was responding to >>40762's blatant distortion of the nature of creation, implying it was a mistake.
[Quran 29 2-3] Do people think they will be left alone after saying ‘We believe’ without being put to the test? We tested those who went before them: God will certainly mark out which ones are truthful and which are lying.

Salah is not for Allah, it is for us, its a means for us to communicate with Allah, and for purification, to strengthen our iman.
Prayer is a method of meditation, you can find a lot of scientific evidence for the benefits of meditation, many of the poses during salah are also similar to stretching and yoga poses, which have also shown to have benefits.

I'm pretty sure we believe every religion is founded with truth and leaves it overtime, including hinduism. It used to be a monotheistic religion then something like Allah's aspects splintered off and became individually worshipped.

I get your intention brother, but this comparison implies Islam can learn something about yoga.
In fact hindus should learn from muslims.
It's possible that yoga is a bastardized version of salat, which indians forgot.
