lol no. Mughal Sultans weren't involved in the formation of Sikhism. Sikh rebelled against them all the time. Sultan Aurangzeb even hanged one of the Sikh guru for blasphemy.

From what I understand the Sikhs formed from the core of Ismailis converted by the dai a few centuries prior, they degenerated to Hindu syncretism by then. It is very interesting to note the Ismaili penchant for this, the Druze originated from a similar process
