Introducing 8ch.net/muslim/
>What?
Another board about Islam. /muslim/ was previously under ownership of a /pol/ user and I found my opportunity to retake it for actual Muslims. This is not about creating a divide between the boards of /islam/ and /muslim/ - they should synergize with each other. /islam/ may be for discussion of faith and /muslim/ could be more oriented towards everyday discussion et cetera. There will obviously be a large overlap in discussion. More is better!
>Why?
It's a place for less formal discussion or just to hang out and chat or watch webms - a good alternative to going to /b/ or some other site.
>When?
I claimed the board recently
>Who?
I would like the board owner here to be a volunteer and also add his own trusted volunteers so we can keep the board nice and clean. I'm still new to modding so please tell me how we should communicate. I can add you by username to the volunteer list. or whatever else works.

Personally this idea in OP seems redundant but do your thing. There is also the fact that everyday discussion and even “open threads” is somewhat of a violation of the highly specific nature of the categorized chans.
Anyway
I’m the longtime mod here known as akhi.
I’m loyal to BO and this board.
Anyway:
I recently acquired /aswj/…. i didn’t do anything there yet though. It’s sunni only. I perceived a need for it because while there is a great online interest in mainstream Islam, unfortunately the internet levels the field somewhat and isolated oddball groups have an artificially magnified voice. So again while I am loyal to BO and his rules here (I dont ban for creedal or political views) I perceived a need. If anyone wants to help /aswj/ get going let me know.

If you don’t become accustomed to doing the right thing in small everyday matters you will fail when presented with the large ones. You know there is always an imam in Islam, right? Even when we pray or travel, or in the household, in the town, etc. It’s all connected, from the father in his house to the ruler in the capital. In the households the ruler defer to the fathers, in the statecrafting the fathers defer to the rulers.
Maybe you have not just maturity and general knowledge issues but have a deeper aversion to loyalty itself. If you only support a ruler if he fulfills subjective highly criteria from you then you are only loyal to yourself and have missed the point of submitting to Allah ta aala and what He sent the messenger (saws) with entirely.
We were given the criteria for muslim rulers, when you innovate your own you are legislating and negating Allah’s wahiy and indeed even qadr since you think you’re the better choice to rule muslims rather than the ones Allah chose.

You’re a new revert and you have no foundation. You need to study with a sheikh, go to madrassah or at least enroll in an online islamic academy like IOU or Timbuktu Seminary. You have no business running a board at present time. This political radicalism and violence garbage is distracting you from actually studying the religion seriously. And don’t play dumb I know your post history and you are in an unstable living situ and - at present - mentally unstable.

You're overthinking this. Literally my only gripe is that even /christian/ and /pol/ and /leftypol/ - basically all the other major communities on this website - they have their own set of rules, but you allow disgusting gays to post. Every time I visit here I am disgusted. I just want somewhere to post online without seeing that garbage. It's everywhere nowadays.
>political radicalism and violence garbage
This is a baseless assumption.
>you are in an unstable living situ and - at present - mentally unstable.
I had a minor disagreement with a belligerent weedfag almost a month ago where nobody got hurt. That's a serious accusation against my personal integrity, friend. Maybe you think I'm more upset than I really am because this is the internet and I'm unable to convey tone.
>You have no business running a board at present time.
That's literally why I asked you guys to be volunteers. Also, I claimed the board because it was in control of a /pol/fag who was redirecting people to /pol/.
>also
The thread about the jews was some anon from /b/ ☻ing around.
>>26764
Also, despite this altercation going on here right now, I'll maintain that this is not about being divisive, I just don't like the tone of conversation around here… It feels superficial.

We dont allow people to speak of gay stuff here. /christian/ does. I just read a thread there by some yuppie in texas who got turned down for a priesthood gig for performing lewd acts on men at a bar.
We wouldnt allow that here.
We have one person on our board who is a femme type that is basically castrating himself. That person doesnt advocate any indecent sex acts, the only acceptable sexual relations in Islam are between a man and his wives and concubines.
And if you have such problems with how we run this board why do you want us to run your board?

My plan with /muslim/ was (and probably still is) to lure in non Muslims who want to troll or just curious and expose them to information about Islam.
I wanted you guys to help run the board because I know that I know nothing in comparison to what I will down the road.
>but then why own the board
Because it's a different board and was meant to serve a different (but related) purpose.

I think I was one of them. I'm not against /muslim/, I just find it redundant to try and invite /b/tards there. Although on second thought, if it was part of your plan to get trolls to visit and learn about Islam then it could be productive.

>Every time I visit here I am disgusted
Creating a board specifically as a deterrent from another board has never really worked. /isis/ /islamicstate/ and /modernislam/ were all created because someone was angry at this board's policies. Unless you create your own board's culture and give it direction, it will fail.
It's not like /islam/ is a legacy board. We started off very slow and spent the first 6-8 months of the board's life fighting off /pol/ trolls. We've now been around for 4 years and have a good core of regular posters, a good mod team, and a slowly growing use base. It wasn't overnight success, though. If it's important to you, then it's worth working for. Who knows what your board will be like in 4 years; but if you bill it as "anti-/islam/", then it won't last.

Everything is covered but their face. Ever since 1979 the shia and the khawarij have both made takfir on Saudi rulers and grasp at anything to justify it. Before women could drive the rulers were already “kuffar taghoot”. So what’s with the daily outrage when the matter was supposedly closed decades ago?
Saudi is loosening some restrictions on people because they would previously fly to other countries to do these things. It’s better to offer fun activities with sharii guidelines at home rather than losing the youth completely to foreign lands and foreign millahs.
This is not baathi nusayri style oppression where people are FORCED by a dhalim regime to participate in weird sinful events or worship pictures of the leader. It’s arguably less sharii changes than urfi ones.
The rulers there are bending so as not to break. Indeed if you see an evil in a ruler it is only because there is far more evil in his subjects. The way to best address this is tazkiyyah and tarbiyyah of the general populace which is what the Ulema has always said. If the people were educated and pure then there wouldn’t be massive demand for these kind of changes. The khawarij reject that and think they can make society healthy by fighting the rulers which is backwards. By fighting the social ills you make the rulers healthy.

Do you want to kick Andreas Schwer out of Saudi Arabia? You know, the German guy who is teaching sunni muslims how to make their own modern military equipment?
You like it when Sunnis get bombed and are defenseless. You want riyadh to be raqqa. Just admit it.

>You fool, I don't support taghut who bomb muslims
Are you sure you don’t support Badreddin Houthi, Ayatollat Khameini, Hassan Nasrallat, and Bashar al Kalb? Because it seems you are harsh only against sunni rulers and easy on the kuffar rulers. If I’m mistaken then maybe rectify your comments here to better express yourself.
>and support american planes, for these planes don't take off except in the lands of the arab tawagheet.
I didn’t know America relied on Bashar and Nasrallat for their planes to take off. Are you upset that America bombed ISIS when that is exactly what those terrorists sought to provoke? The only sunnis in that fake astroturf caliphate were victims and human shields. Why don’t you tell us why AbdurRahman Peter Kassig had to be murdered like a zabiya slaughter in HD1080p?
