I have this XXL blue Quran. I paid $65 for it in a store many years ago. It is still being sold at basically the same price ($69).

It's important to choose one style of Quran and memorize only from that. I like this blue Madinah style because it has various sizes with same page layout.

English of Hadith
Abu Musa (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "From among the acts of respecting God is the respecting of an aged Muslim, and the one who commits the Qur'an to memory and does not exaggerate pronouncing its letters nor forgets it after memorizing, and to respect the just ruler".
The Hadith has been declared authentic by

Does anyone have any audio of Quran recitation that is in a simple style? When you look up Quran recitation on youtube every video is WOW AMAZING RECITATION U WILL CRY or MOVING RECITATION SO BEAUTIFUL. I just want something simple, rhythmic, and regular that will make it easy to memorize. I'm looking for audio of an average-joe hafiz reciting Quran, not a world class reciter.
