How do you feel about people who are genuine lovers of God, pious, kind, honest and committed to their religion, but don't share your religion/sect?

I feel more "kinship" to people like that, even if they don't share my religion. I know people who are in my religion that are dastardly and mean and even though they are "scholars" and understand the religion, their hearts are cold and their actions are hypocritical.

Sometimes I feel like we (lovers of God) are part of a primordial religion,that exists underneath our particular tradition/sect/denomination and we tip our hats to each other secretly, wink-wink, implicitly knowing that God is perfectly just and merciful and everything will be alright in the end. No? Or am I just rambling incoherently (i'm euphoric due to meditation, sorry if this makes no sense)

Yeah it's called the fitrah.

It will be alright for the just but not for those who associated partners with God.

I don't know their intentions so I can't say. But it doesn't matter if a person is nice to me because being respectful to God is more important. In this life, I will treat them with kindness, but I will have no problem with them ending up in hell if they don't repent. This is my belief.
