i have a scientific / islamic question

so please i want a medicine / pharmacy student to answer !

-i read in quran

" ﺃﻓﻠﻢ ﻳﺴﻴﺮﻭﺍ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻷﺭﺽ ﻓﺘﻜﻮﻥ ﻟﻬﻢ ﻗﻠﻮﺏ ﻳﻌﻘﻠﻮﻥ ﺑﻬﺎ ﺃﻭ ﺁﺫﺍﻥ ﻳﺴﻤﻌﻮﻥ ﺑﻬﺎ ﻓﺈﻧﻬﺎ ﻻ ﺗﻌﻤﻰ ﺍﻷﺑﺼﺎﺭ ﻭﻟﻜﻦ ﺗﻌﻤﻰ ﺍﻟﻘﻠﻮﺏ ﺍﻟﺘﻲ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺼﺪﻭﺭ"

which means that our "hearts" is what we think with NOT our brains.

and as known scientifically that brain is responsible for our thinking , emotions , character ,behaviour ..etc

isn't this is a controversial condition between quran and science ?

Also your heart shows the effect of the type of life you lead and therefore events in your life.

If you get "broken hearted" it does actually result in damage to the heart muscles.

The heart is not a mind, but it does provide sensory feedback to our brains and can affect our emotions. Neurons alone, of course, aren't enough to be a "second brain", but both the heart and digestive system are unique in their sensory feedback abilities.
