I have spent some time in Indonesia and I feel it is a corrupt democracy. I wouldn't be surprised if a revolution happens eventually. Corruption runs down to the small villages.

I am a little concerned the Bleeding of May will happen again.

And another verse says on the christians :

This means that some pious chrstians have good intentions and are not our enemies. These would be christian countries who would be independent of israel and jewish influence.

They will never accept out prophet and our religion and will always try to convert us, but we would also do the same. This dawah from both sides is not from a hostile origin.

"And never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say, "Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance." If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper."

It is an undeniable historical fact that Sunni governments have been far more murderous and oppressive toward Shi'a groups than the other way around. Why do you deny that fact? Because it doesn't fit your narrative, your hate.

Well, I agree that verses of the Qur'an can lead people astray just as much sometimes as lead them on the right path. This is not due of course to any inherent flaw in the Qur'an, but as, for some people of weak or foolish mind, giving them the Qur'an is like throwing pearls before swine. I believe that God has revealed many verses which are made to test us.

Salafis though, even native Arabic speaking ones, are especially stupid at times as they sometimes don't even understand that word that means "friends" in that verse is awliya, which in traditional Islamic idiom is the kind of term that refers to authority figures, especially of a religious variety. There are several other Arabic words which can be translated as friends or allies which are not used in that verse and that verse as well also speaks of Muslims taking Ahlul Kitab for "friends" over and against their fellow Muslims, not "friends" in that general term meaning hospitality and co-existence for mutual ends.
