A sin is something that you do. You can't be punished for what you are, because that's outside your control. Assuming that homosexual people are born as such, punishing someone for being attracted to the same sex is like punishing someone for being short, or black.
Actually having sex with someone is something you choose to do, and therefore can be a sin. I'm not knowledgeable enough about that sort of thing, but sex outside marriage is a sin and a marriage in Islam is between a man and a woman, so by that logic same-sex sex would be a sin.
In short, she's fine unless she starts [foul language]ing other women, or men outside marriage.
