He stopped for a little while. But then he started to play it softly and late. On one weekend he played it at 1AM and I yelled to turn it down. To which he started softly played it for ~15mins before stopping.
Now, he's blaring his music and playing in the afternoon and late at night. Rather loudly. So, I guess I'll be nice and put a note on his door telling him to be courteous to his 3 other room-mates before I get the hall monitor.

Yes, assuming his amplifier has a headphone jack.
Which, aren't hard to find such amplifiers. But, I can't rule that out. So, my guess is he does not have a headphone jack and is unable to listen to his guitar while playing. But, it's the combination of playing Stairway to heaven on the guitar poorly and listening to stairway to heaven on his speaker that makes for an annoying afternoon.

I got a "15-minute japanese - learn in just 12 weeks" thing at the bookstore and a different guide for the reading and writing. I'm also in school but my GPA isn't very good. It doesn't matter much though because once I get my associates degree state schools have to give me automatic admission.
