You think 30-40% of the next generation will give up how they were originally born? You're making a vast overestimation if you seriously think that when there's so many factors involved. On top of that, currently less than 1% of adults in the US identify as transgender. The farthest I'd go in estimation is 10%, and even that's a bit much. People aren't naturally like this and they possibly have to go through multiple processes to transition, making it very unlikely that too many do so.
