I know this is a community of users who dont like to pay for files as I am, I am just curious to know other peoples perspectives on this.
A lot of hypno artists sell their files between range the $40-$50 range, can anyone actually justify this? Music artists who easily spend more time and effort on their audio and sell it for $2-$5 on itunes or whatever. I don't understand how these people can really complain when charging such a ridiculous price for a piece of audio. Its obvious a lot of people would reject this stupid shit, how did this even start being acceptable?
Why do betas pay so much for these files in the west but in other countries it is like $5-$10?
If you were to start making your own audio that has taken you hours/days to write and record how much would you set it for? What would you pay for a file if the content was good?

In short: It's a question of supply and demand. Apparently the few who are ok with paying more than a couple of bucks for these files are pretty much willing to pay much more and it works out for the creators.
Taking a look at the (((B4mb1))) patreon there are about 400 supporters at any given time so considering these are relatively specific files and the lowest level is $5, one could make at least $2000 per release with lower prices if they are reasonably spaced out. Whether that's more or less than what others with way more expensive files are making is hard to say. If I had to guess I'd say it's probably more or less even.

the (((B4mb1))) sleep patreon is $5 a release,
releases are broken down into 2 batches per series. the series are roughly 5-10 files long
so that breaks down to $1-$2 per file.
given that the (((B4mb1))) Sleep files are some of the most powerful hypnosis files out there, that is a tremendous value.
turn around time 4 a file varies from creator to creator, but between scripting, recording, and editing its about 2 weeks to make a polished file.

A single file of another tist usually equates one (((B4mb1))) session due to the modular setup of the (((B4mb1))) sessions.
The price is therefore not quite as good as you make it seem for the equivalent of a full session, but then again having the option to customize the session playlist is also a big benefit in itself.

(((B4mb1)))moron can't stop shillng for his life. But my files are the best.
Wgat bout the 6-8 month between releases where patreons pay for nothing?
Your 3 min files don't even as a series equate to a real file (it's not equal, it's just bits thrown together vs. a continous real file) and if you take the 8 month between releases it's already 40 bucks for that.
Besides the fact that's not how a patreon works. That's your next lie. They don't "buy" it.
Can somone pleas throw (((B4mb1)))cancer of the board?

There is no good justification.
Compare with erotic works on DLsite, typically the only thing that even gets into the $20 range is hentai video games. Typically a lewd voice work goes for $5 to $10, and the $10 ones are easily 3+ hours long.
You can also compare with roleplay asmr videos that people do for free, since they require about as much preparation and talent to make as hypnosis files.

I've done audio production work on a few erotic hypnosis files for a few different Hypnodommes and I can attest to the process being extremely time consuming when you factor in script-writing, voice recording, editing, music and mixing (including multiple voice tracks, effects and things like binaural beats)… 1 high quality erotic hypnosis file in the 30+ minute range could take weeks to produce from start to finish…
You should also consider that most Hypnodommes sell their work on sites that routinely take up to 40% of their profits in fees before they've even paid tax on that profit…
Personally I don't have a problem paying $25-30 for a good erotic hypnosis file, I don't buy many and I only buy from Hypnodommes who put the effort into making high quality files…
You might still think they're charging too much, but if nobody paid them what they consider the going rate there wouldn't be any files here for you to steal…

(((B4mb1))) files are available for free about 4 weeks after the small price early release on Patreon, so any discussion on the price to quality ratio is moot…. Patreon support is just for fans who wish to reward the content creator, and they get the files earlier in exchange, that's it.

Apparently you have no idea how Patreon works because the payment model for that creator is set to a per release payment instead of each month. The subscribers are only charged when something new is released and they can set a limit to prevent overcharging if releases were to happen in very quick succession for some reason.
A complete session is about $10, which is still way cheaper than a lot of other tists and as long a one has some patience and waits for the files to be released for free there is no need to pay at all.
The only other creators with a decent number of free files that I know of are ultra hypnosis and V1v3.

As long as there's no way buy it anonymously, I won't even begin to consider of exposing my identity to buy something that only works (for me) only high on drugs.

After writing the post I checked a few things. Anonymity is kinda possible via using prepaid credit cards or sending cash directly to, e. g. wmm. You can setup an anonymous paypal with the prepaid credit card (bought a tank station or something like that), which would seem to be a lot more wise than sending cash via mail across countries or over the ocean.
Crypto definitely shows promise, but some governments don't like the money launder applications of anonymous buying.
Point is: If someone REALLY wants to buy a file and stay anonymous, there ARE ways to pull it off. You just need the financial resources and time.

Discussing a popular prolific hypnotist with a fairly unique & generous pricing model is obviously ontopic for this thread. Maybe ban the militant anti(((B4mb1))) cancer shills throwing a fit every time it's mentioned instead?

Looking at audio hypnosis pricing vs music artists isn't really a fair comparison. All else equal, niche stuff kinda has to be more expensive somehow, because there will be fewer potential customers.
Also, pricing in a logical sense doesn't really have anything to do with how much effort went in to it or the quality of the work, it's more about the value to the customer and how to maximise revenue (lots of small sales or few big ones?)
Artists who charge $50 a file may be doing the right thing. I wouldn't pay that much (since most end up crap), but it's possible they make bank off rich idiots, or the whole idea is to just trap horny dudes while they're jacking off and stupid and hoping what they get is worth it, and repeat business isn't that important to them.
I generally wouldn't pay high prices for anything, because I think there's a tendency for price to correlate negatively with quality in this scene. It makes sense: it's a fetish that makes fantastical promises and often fails to deliver. If you know you're a hack, the best strategy is to set prices high to extract the most whenever someone falls for it, but if you know you're good you want to set prices low so that word spreads and as many people as possible have the opportunity to pay you something.
For similar reasons I think the bad hypnotists care a lot more about fighting filesharing than the good ones, since it exposes them and reduces the chances of getting the occasional big payout, whereas the good ones don't really mind since they'll get more popular and maybe some extra small sales from the good will.
