Hi hypnosis enthusiasts (I'm just calling you guys that due to my lack of knowledge on how you address each other.) I'm currently running an experiment and investigation into these tapes you guys tend to use. I would like to call on any of those who'd wish to share their experiences with me through email. As of this moment I in the middle of organizing my investigation and coming up with methods of collecting data. working on a basic survey on how tapes generally make the the taker feel emotionally, physically, and mentally. For those wishing to be more involved this could become weekly interviews and evaluations and the "prescription" of various tapes of different genres to further observe the effects they have. If you'd wish to help me out and participate please email me at asbetosburner@gmail.com for further information.

I wanna help but for whatfuckingever reason captcha is constantly failing for me and I'm having trouble creating an email address

And for very obvious reasons I'm not gonna use my business address.

Good luck to you.

Thank you for your luck. If need be you can use a fake emailing service that contains some other form of communication if need be. Be it some sort of messaging service or an IRC. I would like to clarify that all personal information provided to me is confidential and it will never be shared even if this investigation goes public for your own safety. Regardless I'm appreciative of the support and I'll make sure to produce something meaningful.

I cannot explain why this would be the case. I have received two separate emails from volunteers so far but neither of them are from Yandex. Maybe there might be a block between the two? It wouldn't surprise me if something like that went under the radar. Simply continue to try and email me or create another if need be. I would recommend Gmail as they allow you to make one in a snap.

It was Yandex's problem, not yours. Error message just poorly worded.

What is the purpose of the interviews? Are you writing an article or conducting graduate-level research?

I'm conducting this on my own time and procedure. I'm going to be taking a major in psychology as I hope to become a therapist after I graduate and I thought this would be an excellent project to work on as it'll get me used to delving into other people's minds. This may be published publicly if I decide the final product has some interesting yield but I will remove whatever volunteers ask me to from public eye no questions asked.

tl;dr I just wanna know how y'alls brains work

Just have to ask….are you male or female?

 No.33034

>>33017

I am male, but I will not act as a surrogate for a hypnotist nor will I attempt to play that role. I'm merely doing my best to observe the daily effects that these tapes have on people mentally, physically, emotionally, and sexually.

It's also been brought to attention too that my forced "grammar skills" are off putting to some. I'd like to let it be know that the only reason I've been typing like some generic movie scientist is just the fact it makes me feel more able to explain myself and the basis of my investigation. Volunteers can request me to communicate in a more laid back manner with laxed vocabulary if it makes them more comfortable.

You are not, on available evidence, qualified to conduct scientific research, nor have you stated any hypothesis for any 'experiment'.

You do not appear to be associated with any institute, and your commitment to anonymous data has no guarantees.

Lastly, if you want to be a fully-certified 'therapist', a major in psych won't do it - you will need a PHD, or at least a Masters in Social Work.

Ah I see. I was merely following the minimum requirements I'd seen on a job database. But you do bring compelling arguments to me conducting this and have excellent reason to bring these up so I will omit the information that best corresponds with your points.

>You are not, on available evidence, qualified to conduct scientific research

No I am not, I am at best simply a curious person who wants to do very rudimentary investigation into the users of hypnosis tapes, specifically tapes who're aimed at fetishists.

>nor have you stated any hypothesis for any 'experiment'.

I would agree that experiment should be in quotation as I'm honestly just taking notes on how different people with different backgrounds react to these tapes. But I will state the question and hypothesis I'm currently working on:

Q: How do erotic/fetish hypnosis tapes affect their users short term, long term, socially and sexually, mentally and physically.

H: Those with who are regularly willing to these tapes experience some degree of the intended programming.

>You do not appear to be associated with any institute, and your commitment to anonymous data has no guarantees.

I do not have any association to an institute or facility that are affiliated with psychiatric research. I am simply an amateur trying to log down the basic effects of hypnosis tapes on various volunteers with various backgrounds. As for the guarantees I don't believe one should expect something when it comes to the anonymous data. To be fairly honest this is more or less a private survey with extra steps.

>Lastly, if you want to be a fully-certified 'therapist', a major in psych won't do it - you will need a PHD, or at least a Masters in Social Work.

Noted. Regardless of the investigation I'll make sure to aim for a Masters then. Again I simply wished to be naive and just went off of what the site said.

Also I would like to thank you for being as calm and respectful as you were even if you don't doubt my ability which you have every right to. Thank you for looking out for others.
