There is enough content to keep one occupied for some time but it's not a lot and it's a bit grind-y if you want to see all available content. What I like about it is that there is no (obviously) unfinished content in the beginning, which is a plus for me, considering how often you get to play a game whery you see "Currently WIP" right after you leave the tutorial. All in all, enjoyable, with some cute/funny moments here and there, might be a bit too vanilla for some people, which can be fixed in the future though updates and mods if it gets traction and considering the first release was at the end of last year, it's pretty ok.

I've been playing this game for a while, since its first releases, and it never occurred to me to make a thread for this game, but it's a great game that shouldn't be missed. I wish it didn't go the submission route. The only time submission is viable in my opinion is when MC is female. Male submission vs Monster Girls is lame as fuck and the only time I can think of that it was done right is MGQ. The hell are you guys on about? This is has some similarities to MGQ and CoC, in that it has monster girls and you fuck them. It stops there. This games isn't all about domination, corruption, or furry. It is refreshingly vanilla. You can be the dom, or be the sub, or even just seduce your way to victory. It is a light-hearted romp through a monster-girl filled world where everyone wants to have your babies and be your loving wife, and it actually has content. With every complaint I've seen about CoC and the like, and the lewd handholding meme that has taken this thread by storm, how is this game not well received here? Yes, the creator of the game is clearly a newfag here, but I'm guessing most of you didn't even try it.

It doesn't have any victory rape scenes because you can't rape the willing. As for victory sex scenes, they are few and far between but they would be rather counter-intuitive with the game's set up. One of your health meters is how many times your character can cum on a single adventure, setting up a denial aspect where your character is edging through the adventure to keep going. It is a battle-fuck game, and you probably aren't going to like it if that isn't enough for you. The fight is the scene for a lot of enemies.

As for the grind, yes. The game is really grindy and a lot of the fun abilities is hidden past the grind, like the spell that puts your enemies to sleep or the magic taser. I just used cheat engine.

Just play on easy nigger. Clear the forest dungeon 4 or 5 times and you can unlock literally every skill in the game, just doing it once is enough to unlock whichever skills you actually want, and you can easily complete it with starting easy mode stats so you don't have to grind the forest at all (just once, as required by plot progression).

The Mountains are pretty tough but no so bad that you would need to grind excessively. The only thing you might need cheat engine for is to actually beat the forest dungeon boss (you are supposed to take the sigil and leave, the boss is level 40)

The optimal cheating method is to open up characterCreator.rpy and set the spirit and energy you get for choosing easy difficulty to a really high value while increasing your sensitivity and fetishes as much as possible once you're in game so you're cumming every turn and actually getting to see all of that contextual orgasm dialogue.

It sucks that luck is the only thing you can really cheat to absurd levels and still have fun because boosting power, technique, and especially allure will make half of your skills cause the girl to orgasm in a single turn and boosting willpower too high makes you literally unkillable.

Excuse me for not finding joy in fighting generic enemies with no special actions or combat sex, when each one takes 5 minutes to kill, and you get into another fight every 8 steps, or having to spam a repeated course of actions with no difference in reaction or descriptions whatsoever in order to get some arbitrary relationship stat to go up so the story will continue.

When h-games become more consistently good games and not a boring trudge to the next scene made by inept morons that don't understand that difficult doesn't need to mean frustration, and that a giant empty map does nothing to alleviate the boredom of an obnoxiously slow walking speed, then I will stop cheating.

And h-game can be a good game, but that is rarely the case. Some of the shit ones actually have interesting characters and stories, but are held back by retarded systems meant only to artificially inflate playtime.

Corruption games tend to be the worst offenders in these cases, where almost every possible action is blocked off from the word go, and you have to repeat 1 or maybe 2 groping scenes to build up some slut stat so that something of interest will finally happen, and if you don't intentionally build up that stat a bunch of scenes will be locked off to you as you go through the story. If they make good with the modding promise this could be something amazing even if the devs bail. I can see this easily becoming a MGE game if people get motivated enough.

Just gave the game a try. Gotta say, it surpassed my expectations. Damn it all, I'm actually fairly interested in modding this game myself, but the developer seemingly based his modding guides on having a basic understanding of coding, which means I'm left completely clueless on how to make stuff actually work. Like apparently this latest version added Event Additions, so I wrote an additional scene for an event, but it won't work in-game and I have no idea what the issue is.

Does the addition have to be in the same folder as the base event itself? Does it have to have the same filename but with "Addition" tacked on to the end? Is the addition supposed to include just the new things you've added?

I don't know, and the examples Threshold left in the gamefiles are too simple for an idiot like me to go off of.

However, if you're eager for some spoonfeeding, try to be in a penetrating stance when you finish a battle off. It should give you what you're looking for. Not all of them have these battles yet, but the kunoichi trainee definitely does.

Either way, be aware that a theme of the game is competition. You and the other sexy characters are fighting to be on top. Be used to this theme, there will be a competitive tone for who gets to be in charge, and a few relationships so far don't have material where you're on top yet. Exactly the problem. I don't want to have become an addict just to be more than fuckbuddies with a girl. No. I really just want to have more vanilla monster girl romance; no power plays, no master/servant bullshit. Like I said, this game's been pretty good at including such content so far, but there are a few grievous offenders like that kitsune cunt in the temple who downright refuses to be your lover unless you stay her mindbroken slave.

But as for actually becoming an addict? You have to keep getting hit by her venom, so the only reliable method to do that is to feed her until you lose all your Spirit and keep going until you get sent back to the church. Maybe getting hit by it in battle counts as well? I don't know, as far as I can remember my character kept dodging it so it rarely affected me. Either way I'm going to avoid fighting her as much as possible now seeing that she gets fucking tough after a few fights.

Not really sure how I feel about the monstergirls being "normal" people with jobs and schooling and shit. While it can make for an interesting setting I don't feel like it fits very well with the premise.

Which characters have a "full" waifu path currently? Kitsune, Wurm, and Manticore are what I've found so far. Lizard girl in the forest seems like she should, but it never advances past the initial "ask her basic questions" stage as far as I know. It sounds like there might be something for at least one of the townies and for the forest inn event, but I haven't figured it out if there is.

I got venomed by just fighting her in battle. I fed her a couple of times but then fought her until her quest started. Considering the game is already full of vanilla monster girl romance, and the manticore has addictive venom since shes a monster girl manticore, and you can just opt out of the entire quest and get reset at any point including after you actually get addicted, and her interactions are normal vanilla, I don't really see the problem. The manticore freaks out even more then the MC does when it happens, it's not like MGQ shit.

Like with the manticore you can just have her completely reset you, but you have to keep going with it to finish her route. The vanilla sex scene is basically your reward for getting through all the dialog, but there are a number of cuddling and oral scenes that never involve her commands either.
