Slight organization to this timeline here, these two:
>Kellee Santiago was one of Tracy Fullerton's students. (https://archive.is/yNXG2#selection-319.641-319.712)
>Kellee worked as a graduate research assistant for the Game Innovation Lab which Tracy Fullerton heads back in 2006. (https://archive.is/iG0ej)
Should probably come before this:
>gave thatgamecompany, co-founded by Kellee Santiago, $20k in 2009 (http://archive.is/Jemhf#selection-1483.234-1489.92)
<06: Kellee's Tracy's student
06: Kellee is Tracy's research assistant
09: Tracy gave Kellee's company $20,000
11: Kellee (Fez investor) and Tracy are both on the IndieCade award team that Fez won
12: Tracy wins IndieCade on a game where Kellee is a committee member again. Meaning that for two years in a row Kellee Santiago has been financially tied to the winners of IndieCade.
13: Tracy wins IndieCade's "trailblazer" award when five people, including the co-chair for the jury and a colleague at the same university, are all directly connected to Tracy.
The grand conspiracy here is back to the same pattern we've seen among those in the indie game clique: Friends giving friends money followed by friends giving friends awards.
This is one of the more original situations where that began. No wonder these people hate it when you attack academia so much, it's where the corruption started.
