There are some very serious allegations and crimes stated there. The proof you have here is of a possible conversation that is incredibly awkward and doesn't seem to follow well.

If she can provide some kind of evidence and clear verification of some of her claims, it's more believable. Same with the other people making accusations.

You also seem to be forgetting that people knew of Zoe from her fucking with Wizardchan before and that it was part of the drama she already had as Depression Quest released a few days prior to Eron's writing the zoepost. TFYC's post happened just a day after. It was one one thing in a vacuum.

Beyond all that, I have no idea who the fuck this guy is. Should I? Does he have anything to do with video games? If there is no actual evidence being provided then why should a reasonable person believe anything as opposed to wait until it exists?

I didn't care much about Eron besides the fact that the whole thing was covered up everywhere. This seems much messier, with things like the mother contradicting the door punch, and the woman showing a message about something slipped in her drink, which could be explainable as vodka, consensual drug use, but is sketch enough to justify a police investigation.

Honestly, the big thing with Eron was that he had chat logs, a coherent timeline, and everything was supported by independent digs. This woman has a tumblr post of her own testimony and a single ambiguous screenshot.

The key here being that this is an actual crime that the statute of limitations hasn't fucked over yet. She can still report this to the proper authorities and they will haul his ass in for an investigation.

I have a confession, /gamergatehq/. I, too, was wronged by Tobuscus. I kept it hidden a long time but I have to come clean. He can't keep getting away with this.

I saw Tobuscus at a grocery store in Los Angeles. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I've done a bit of digging, and while a lot of facts don't line up, one thing really sticks out to me:

If you've ever dated a bipolar chick, that alone should tell you plenty about this whole mess.

First thing, what will happen is the same thing that has happened numerous times before. With Onision and AmazingAtheist and Linkara and countless others. If they keep their head down and ignore it, it'll blow over. It always does.

ZQ's thing became a controversy because she used her connections to try to shut down all discussion of it. If this guy starts getting his reddit friends to shadowban anyone talking shit about him, then it'll blow up.

Sure does sound like a violation of journalistic ethics to me! Let's just look at how all these media outlets are conspiring on censorship of-….

Look, there's a huge lack of evidence here. At least Eron did provide more than just screenshots of his phone aand it encouraged people to dig deeper.

In this case though, we have some youtuber girl accusing him and there's already surfaced images and shit that pokes holes in her story and others that "Stands with April" admits that they never got raped or anything either.

Furthermore, if rape and abuse truly had happened, she should've gone to the police first. The police themselves will tell you that it will make investigation harder and maybe even result in evidence being erased before they can find it if they post shit like this online.

Honestly, it all smells like a bunch of bullshit. It's even worse that she claims to have texts as evidence and STILL doesn't go to the fucking police with it.

This case is more like the Max Tempkin "rape" allegation case than the Zoe Post.

For those that can't remember MT:
