The harassment comes from random people who think these people are retarded. They think that getting mentioned as a harasser is some sort of victory, because normally people troll to get a reaction out of people, and SJWs react almost perfectly to trolling from a troll's perspective. You have to remember, SJWs are really easy to troll, and they have massive reactions. That kind of behavior draws trolls in left and right. Usually trolls that don't give a fuck about gamergate or anything else other than a good laugh.

The other part of it is obviously the edgy part of gamergate that thinks they should act like they do on 8chan on the rest of the internet.

as an amateur chat expert in online dialects, I find the majority of samples and examples presented by the Literally Whos to be very suspicious. The language, word choice, and sentence structures are almost universally below a level of competency required to maintain banter on the four-chains. They look and feel like very artificial, faked tweets or posts.

I have no credentials though, other than being able to convince fellow men online that I'm a female playing games to get free shit in MMOs.

The strongest, most obvious proof that GG doesn't harass or dox anyone is the fact that there are two boards on 8chan that actually do harass and dox: /baphomet/ and /cow/, and they generally see GG as weak and ineffective because GG doesn't do that shit. Not that a retarded SJW could tell the difference between those three boards, but a neutral observer might.

Not really. Anonymity allows anyone to claim being not involved in anything that is inconvenient to a stated goal or cause. You can shout from the highest mountain that /baphomet/ and /cow/ do not represent anonymous users in gamergate, and you might even be right. But that anonymity means it is impossible to completely disown yourself from those two boards. There's no way to truly confirm if you or I are regulars from /cow/ or /baphomet/ that simply keep that shit on the downlow when we post here. That is, after all, the greatest strength of anonymous, isn't it? The ability to say or do something, anything, and not actually have to take responsibility for it if we're smart?

That's why gamergate has been an uphill struggle, and will continue to be one. Short of shedding your anonymity (and quickly losing the support of this community), there's absolutely no way to convince an SJW or a 'neutral' that we don't consort with the types of people who do dox or harrass online over this stuff, at least not with our own words or presentations.

We have to basically hope that persistently presenting our case ends with the SJW or Neutral in question choosing to believe what WE are saying over what they already believe or perceive.

Most cases of "harassment" they bitch about are just disagreeable posts on Twitter. That's it.

If we all went "Hackers on Steroids" on the SJWs like anon used to do to people back in the glory days of 2006-2008, the SJWs would've killed themselves already. We would've been better off if this actually happened, but a man can only dream.
