This is the furry fandom, that "open & accepting" crap has never been true, furries hate anyone they don't 100% share views with or anyone who critiques a popufur.

I actually try to seek out the original upload and favorite/watch that account. If I can help it I always avoid giving favorites to reuploads.

Same goes if I upload a commission I got to my account, I plaster all over my description and title that it's not my art and that people should favorite the original, not mine with a direct link. Of course I still get favorites on it, but at least I tried...

Commission whore here, I personally like people who reupload art of thier characters. Not only are they introducing me to artists they find themselves that I wouldn't find otherwise, but they are showcasing that artists style and how it projects thier character. Artists have thier own way of drawing different species, if I owned a dragon character and really liked an artist that had no examples other than canines I'd have no idea what the final result would look like, however, if a commission whore with a dragon OC commissioned several artists who haven't drawn dragons previously it would greatly boost my confidence in the artists ability and I'd be much more likely to throw my money to said artist.

If a person with a racoon character commissioned an artist and received art that looked like a black and white dog with a long ass tail, I'm going to avoid them. And sometimes it just boils down to the fact that I just like that characters design or storyline, since furry doesn't have set characters or universe and is based on personal creation it's an easy way to find art of characters that appeal to your specific tastes.

Regardless of that however, commission whores who feel entitled to everything because they commissioned art from someone are the absolute worst

I just post my commissions because I like sharing. Don't really care about some arbitrary number of watchers
