Alright you degenerates, listen up.

I think I've just about decided I want to create a Zootopia-based sex game. Of course, focusing around Judy Hopps.

Now, I have several ideas for the game, including,

1. Capturing and training Judy as a sex slave.

2. Becoming the new Chief and turning Judy into your personal whore, or else she's fired.

3. Nick blackmailing Judy to make her his whore.

Overall, BDSM/sexual servitude themes are what I'm going for here. Any other ideas are appreciated, but that's not what I'm here to ask about.

I'm here to ask about platforming. Specifically, how I should go about making this. I think that a pixelated art style would be a cuter, yet still sexy and simple way I could do it, but I don't know how to program.

Should I do Python? Or go more visual with Renpy into a Trainer-style game? Or go full-text with Twine? Or something else?

Genocide was literally made in such a way as to punish people that decided to play that way, by being boring, pointless, overly-difficult, and at times not allowing the player a choice. The only way it could work as a movie is if, upon buying a ticket, patrons were asked if they hoped all monsters in the would would die, and if they say yes they get funneled into a separate theater that shows The Room, and every ten minutes or so the theater attendants walk in and slap everyone in the face.

OP, the first question is, do you have any experience making finished, polished games? I ask because the-fandom-at-large has a long history of claiming they're making an X-rated furry game, generating a lot of hype, getting people interested, making ads, drumming up donations and funding, making big promises... and then giving up, deciding it's too hard, and/or just vanishing with the money.

Construct 2 is a pretty great engine for beginners that can do everything the engines you listed can do, with a bit of finnicking, and I’d be happy to guide you if you want to learn, if you have the determination.

It's too bad that "choose your own adventure" movies never became a thing. It obviously wouldn't work on a large scale like movie theaters, but it could with webcasts. People are increasingly staying at home instead of going to theaters, and increasingly want more personal experiences with their media. The appealing-to-the-lowest-common-denominator kinds of bland and boring movies right now are killing the mainstream industry, and the backlash is starting to gain speed.

It might be time for a paradigm shift in the way visual media is done. We have tons of immensely popular indie games (many made by a handful or only a single person) while the only popular movies have credits lists in the hundreds of people. Where are the indie filmmakers? Animation in particular doesn't have to be Disney/Pixar level of "muh ten million strands of fur" detail to be compelling. It's going to happen, and my guess is soon.

Movies are tough to do as they require a script and storyboard, so a lot of people just opt for SFM animation loops.

You should definitely write the game in Haskell so that you have the most direct transition from basic idea into user output. What you're trying to optimize for here is a function that takes in the user's choices and outputs the result efficiently, something that even modern game engines struggle with. Haskell, being based upon the very fundamentals of computer science, is excellent at producing this kind of efficiency, and even has not one but two wrappers for the SDL library, which will simplify the process immensely.

This is assuming that you intend to build the game from scratch, of course, because that way you dodge a lot of the licensing issues that most currently-existing game engines suffer from (I believe the Unity engine license has a clause that allows the developers to pull your license if the product you're producing is pornographic in nature, which can and has ended many a project).

Then, once you've got the base game down, the rest is piss-easy, really. All you need is some basic storytelling ability, easily the simplest part in the production of any game project (you can easily do it yourself) since any faggot can write a compelling interactive story that people will gladly pay money for, and some graphic artists, which are easily hired because they're all starving and desperate for a reliable income. I mean there is more to a game, like music, but you can find royalty-free music online no problem, especially nowadays with labels like No Copyright Sounds active.

Of course the only road bump here is that the Zootopia license is a copyright of Disney, who are infamous for bringing down the law on anyone who makes use of their intellectual property, but luckily most countries these days have a "fair use" clause in their copyright law which allows for the use of intellectual property in a review or parody, which is a bunch of legal jargon that means any copyrighted materials are free game for fan art, or indeed free art for fan games!

Really if you follow your dreams and keep your head on your shoulders you should have this done in a year, tops. No problem. It's not like you're a AAA corporation with management and lawyers keeping you down, after all.
