按照我的祖父學理論來說，第一種人就是留下了無形的遺產給他的子孫；第二種人就是，在他的子孫出生以前，他就開始吃自己的子孫了。甚至還有這樣的人，他自己不行，是安插不了自己的子孫的，子孫比如說到別的外單位去行了以後，他又想辦法利用我跟他有親緣關係，到外單位去走後門，甚至把子女的事業做垮，這種事就是典型的吃子孫飯。有些人是像華盛頓將軍這種人，留下了歷史積分給自己的子孫；有些人則預先把自己的子孫吃掉了。有很多地方起不來，是因為你在還沒出生以前就被你的祖先吃了；有些地方的條件不怎麼樣的企業能活下來，是因為祖先給你留了很多遺產。當然，這也是一個責任感的展現。像剛才那種“反正美國人會管，我們先賺快錢再說”，這種人就是吃子孫飯的人。世界上只有一種事情你沒有辦法：跟你同一代的人，任何人你都有辦法對付；但是如果是你的祖先要坑你，如果是你爺爺或者你爸爸要坑你的話，那你是絕對沒有辦法的，你出生這件事就已經註定你被他坑了。
