>Realize I'm not eating enough iodine

>My one a day supplement doesn't have any

>All iodine supplements are super expensive, don't like the taste of kelp

>idea.gif

>buy 100g potassium iodide powder from ebay

>Dissolve a pinch of said powder into a cup of water, drink every day

Am I doing the right thing here or am I wasting time and money?

You are a retard, like, you are a really dumb and stupid american. How the fuck are you not getting enough iodine and what made you think you aren't?

Well I pretty much cut out table salt from my diet to lower my sodium intake and table salt is the biggest source of iodine in most diets isn't it?

4ea7a7  No.144665

>>144664

you know you could have just gone with pink salt, right?

21d074  No.144666

>>144665

Pink salt is 98% sodium chloride aka almost the same as table salt

4ea7a7  No.144667

>>144666

yes but it also contains trace minerals not present in table salt because the processing is not the same, much like sea-salt, just eat less salt god damn.

>just eat less salt

That's exactly what I did lol. And I'm asking about iodine in the first place. My main concern is if potassium iodide is treated differently in the body than elemental iodine or the triiodide form

Sodium isn't even bad for you. The concern with sodium is based off of antiquated and poorly conducted research.

Agree with him. Iodine cant be overdosed i think and you could just use pink himalayan salt (proven that people have lived longer because of proximity to sea water)

Also one piece of seaweed paper nori for sushi has like 10000 times more than RDA but u dont need to supplement every day.

I believe iodine supplements are just created for suckers or possibly people with goiter and thyroid problems.

Also the pic you posted looks like one of those how to make rock salt memes but it also makes a bomb.

You seem like the type of person that would actually swallow a tide pod and post a video of it on the internet of you dying

Obviously you don't need to reduce sodium completely out of the equation as it is essential in sweat production.

Potassium on the other hand has clear negative effects on overdose.

70eaa1  No.144678

So what are you saying here? Iodine for proper thyroid regulation?

Also check there is fucking hormone thread.

>lighter hair and eyes

So, will eating a couple tablespoons of pink salt finally make me white?
