something you can buy or prepare yourself

-it has to give me energy, should preferably contain protein, carbs, fat.

-has to taste good when cold

-should not need to be cooked at home (but preparation is allowed)

-should be compact if possible (that means a lot of calories compared to size)

-should be able to prepare it for many days and store in fridge or somewhere

So far was eating bread with fat and cheese. but want to eliminate bread.

Raw beef and raw chicken eggs fit all your criteria. Except for the carbs, but you don't need those anyway.

Peanut butter and jelly on whole bread is pretty nutritious. Right now im fasting, but i still consider my opinion valuable.

I dont understand why youre cutting out bread, but, sandwhiches with meat and cheese are good.

Oatmeal soaked in some milk and water is good cold with some berries as well.

Last week i was bored an mixed some delicious yogurt with cherries into rolled outs soaked in milk and water and was delicious but sometimes i will soak it in a little more water than it needs, heat it super hot in micro, then cool it off with cold milk.

but whole grain cereal with milk is almost just as good as long as it doesnt have too much sugar.

what can I add to oats so they don't taste like shit?

Hey there, new friend. If you are going to act like a diva to anon suggestions, you can just starve yourself to death. There's no quick, healthy, nutritious and cheap solution to get you a decent enough meal, except oats or some other porridges. Sure, if you are a white collar worker in an office and all you have to do is push buttons and chat with Denise, then go for some vegetables or pre packed salads.

You could, actually, make meat salad. It's really tasty, if you use boiled potatoes, boiled carrots, onion, pickles or cucumber, peas, smoked meat, boiled eggs, sour cream and mayo. Let it stay overnight in the fridge and you are good. It takes a while to get right proportions and whatever ingredients that you like, but it's a pretty good option and they can be stored in fridge for quite some time.

Oats are delicious. I usually eat about 100g of oats every morning. Just put them in a bowl, pour boiling water on them and let them soak for a few minutes while you fap to tranny porn or whatever gets you pumped up for the day. I usually add a pinch of salt. You can add (((white death))) if you want to, but I prefer not to. After they've soaked, I add milk and something slightly sweet. Sometimes honey, or crushed berries, sometimes a jam, maybe even an ice cream. Greek yoghurt also is a good option.

If you want some extra vitamins, just eat fruits and nuts over the course of the day.

Agree.

And oats are actually one of the best things because they have tons of carbs for keeping your brain sharp and staying energized.

Plus they dont actually need to be cooked. As long as they absorb the water they become soft and everyone knows that grains have long been the premier diet of humans for thousands of years.

Plus they actually do contain protein( not in the ideal macro-profile however) and do have have certain fat/oil propertiez.

They taste good alone, and can be toasted with butter

Plus you can buy in bulk and they stay good forever. Add protein powder for gains.

>chicken salad, bring bottle of dressing to apply fresh so it doesn't get soggy

>sardine salad, similar but open the sardines fresh as well

>chicken-bacon-chipotle sauce-baby spinach wrap (tastes excellent with avocado, but avocado browns when exposed to air)

a few suggestions. lacks carbs, but you could just bring some crackers, or pre-cooked pasta, or something like that. carbs are the easy part

>Peanut butter and jelly on whole bread is pretty nutritious

ahahahahaha

peanuts are a legume and thus trash, jelly is all sugar and thus trash, "whole wheat" is 99% of the time not actually whole grain

>I dont understand why youre cutting out bread

wheat has gluten (anti-nutrient) and something that affects our opioid recepters which can cause brain fog. I personally enjoy wheat, but I can see why people would cut it out of their diet and eat white rice, potatoes, chestnuts, dates, etc. instead

ahahahahahahhahahahahaha

raw steel cut oats for the jaw gainz or gtfo

>what can I add to oats so they don't taste like shit?

<raw, steel-cut oats (jaw gainz, lower glycemic index, and tastes a lot better than rolled oats which taste like sawdust IMO)

<cacao nibs (basically chopped up cocoa beans. adds chocolate aroma and tons of antioxidants)

<few raisins for sweetener

<your choice of mixed nuts (I put a small amount of almonds/walnuts/pecans/cashews)

<your choice of berries (I use blueberries, raspberries also good)

<one banana, sliced (important if you want it to taste good. if you don't have one, use a lil more raisins)

<optionally, add a bit of cinnamon and/or nutmeg

<whole milk ofc

delicious and filling breakfast with lots of fiber to make sure your shits are quick, comfortable, and regular. also great pre-workout food. only downside is that it takes a long time to chew so if you're in a rush maybe assemble the dry ingredients the night beforehand (or in bulk in a container) and have a smaller portion and chew fast

this is what I am talking about. when I eat oats they taste like sawdust.

what is the difference between raw oats and rolled oats? how do they look? how to buy the ones that don't taste like sawdust?

<cacao nibs (basically chopped up cocoa beans. adds chocolate aroma and tons of antioxidants)

<few raisins for sweetener

<your choice of mixed nuts (I put a small amount of almonds/walnuts/pecans/cashews)

<your choice of berries (I use blueberries, raspberries also good)

I like to make large batches of egg salad. The basic ingredients are

>Eggs hardboiled but not too much, the yolk should still be yellow and slightly soft

>Mayonnaise make it yourself or buy the fancy mayo that doesn't have HFCS or weird fillers

>oil I use olive oil because avocado oil is pricey as fuck and I don't like the flavor of coconut oil in non pastry dishes you can also use ONLY mayo if you want but I prefer a lighter taste

>Meat. You can use most any meat you want I have used

<canned fish such as tuna, salmon and crab

<deli meat such as ham or turkey

<bacon

<cooked chicken

I would avoid steak or steak like meats as they are not very tasty cold imo

>garlic and onion (you can use powdered if you're lazy)

>Salt and pepper to taste

You can add avocado, cabbage and/or beans to bulk it out and change the texture.

You can also add hot peppers or other spices such a paprika if you like.

The beauty of this is you can make in large batches and eat in a number of ways. You can just eat it with a spoon by itself or as a side dish, add it to a green salad, put in a wrap or sandwich and by varying the meat, spices and additional ingredients you can have a good bit of variety so don't get sick of the same thing.

Another option would be home made power bars using things such as oats, nut butter, nuts/seeds, honey, protein powder and dried fruit. I've never done this but I've seen videos on youtube and it looks fairly easy.

Oatmeal is very high in phytic acid, a chemical that bonds very strongly to zinc (main vitamin required to produce testosterone), calcium and iron- preventing their absorption in the body. Regular consumption of oatmeal will cause deficiencies of all of these vitamins and result in impaired testosterone levels. The only way to get around this fatal flaw is to soak your oats in acidic warm water for long periods of time, at least 7 hours, but ideally 24 or more. To get my own water acidic I add organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar to my steel cut oats and generally soak them overnight.

It is true that oats contain phytic acid, but they are not particularly high in it compared to other foods often recommended here. Rice, beans, peanuts, nuts, almonds, and corn have higher phytic acid content than cereals and grains. Based on the research papers I found, while it does have an effect it is minimal. Eating a lot of protein, natural acids, and higher zinc diet will mitigate phytic acid's effects.

If you want to eliminate phytic acid and other anti-nutrients you would need to stop eating almost all plants. If you eat a balanced and nutrient rich diet you are fine. You can always eat more yogurt or pumpkin seeds if you are concerned about low zinc.
