>Its a good way to get gamers into working out or make them interesting at least.
Maybe. But it would require expensive equipment and a space where you can act like a mongoloid without attracting shame i.e. at home. I always liked the idea about a gym, where you can "train" your money back for example riding a bicycle with resistance to create energy, but that would be most ineffecient economically and physically but it appeals to my inner greed.
>Maybe weighted gloves, somehow sticking a dumbbell on each controller, or full body workout games. It was in Black Mirror and its already happening
the issue with lifting is, that it requires all your focus and strength to complete a set if it is meant to boost your size and strength, hence minigames would just be a waste of time in the context of making gains. It could appeal to people who would otherwise perform no other activity at all, but mostly it would just be a gimmik that will be abused as soon as the game in the vr gets competetive, just like it did with these garbage wii games.
Also one should note that there are plenty of games you could play with a ball and other dedicated humans without a vr whatsoever while retaining your money in your pocket and making real life experiences but for autistic people that seems to be no option.
Instead of fighting sideeffects one should adress the root of the issue which is social anxiety and shame for their own body.
