Ayy I've seen some pretty depressing threads lately so I'm taking a shot at a feelsgoodman post.

Post a goal or fitness-related event that makes you feel good…..man

For me, it's when I crank out some pullups and realize that they've gotten much easier and my form is tighter. Putting down a couple dozen goes from a feat to a casual occurrence and motivates me further.

 No.133268

I can actually do a pull up again. I moved to another state to take care of a family member who was in a bad crash, no time for gym or working out, spent most of last year in a hospital, driving to one, or drinking way too much. But family member is doing better then ever, I'm home again and busting ass at the gym. Friday was my first pull up in around a year. Feels real good man.

My aerobic workout regime for my injured hand more or less worked, I can now do full pushups on my hands without using my knuckles and don't feel agonizing pain or even constant pain all the time. Although I'm not going to push my luck and do a full switch from using my knuckles to using an open palm.

Don't have any sources, I think I'll make some pretty good gains at 150/week considering my TT has been 3xx. I do have some LGD though. I think I'll add it in after a few months.

 No.133338

in rats, at least, SARMs act as an agonist in not just anabolic tissues but also the pituitary, but acted as an antagonist within the prostate; DHT levels within different tissues cause the selectivity.

I'm digressing but at least in human models with LGD-4033, total free blood serum T dropped in response to treatment, and treatment had an anabolic effect.

I became morbidly obese as a teenager and kept it for a decade. Finally got my shit together a couple of years ago, lost it all, cleaned myself up. I've got an LTR who's awesome, life is good.

I had four IOIs in the last two weeks. FOUR. When I finally got my first one after losing most of my weight and gaining some confidence I wrote it down. I wrote down the next few, it happened monthly at first. They've been steadily increasing since then. For me, it's just the best thing about getting /fit/.

Women ignored me for a decade, right when real life was supposed to be starting. Each nugget of interest is like… I dunno, it scratches some itch in my male soul.

I've really improved how I read women. I initiate conversations. I'm *not* super witty or fast on my (conversational) feet. The trick is that they're not either - don't put the pussy on a pedestal, move of them struggle with that shit as well.

So is there any tangible difference between low-T and diabetes. My dad's family has Diabtetes as an inherited trait and I'm paranoid I'm getting it "early" so to speak. Outside convincing my doctor to do a bloodwork test is there any for sure "I am definitely Diabetic" tells?

 No.133350

>>133349

>So is there any tangible difference between low-T and diabetes.

Yes.

>is there any for sure "I am definitely Diabetic" tells?

It's a spectrum of illnesses—not a black and white state. We can be fairly certain you're diabetic when your feet rot and require amputation, but that's not so helpful as ideally one should want the illness brought to their attention in a "pre-diabetic" state.

It's all a big distraction though when instead you could just eat particular subsets of the diets that are low in fat—especially linoleic acid—and high in carbohydrates in order to guarantee that diabetes is an impossibility. Granted there are probably many diets that fit that description that won't save you, but at least that is a start.

 No.133351

>>133342

I'd say yes, beard and voice are mostly influenced by dht, so decent-high 5-alpha reductase could make up for it. I was low T, normal dht with a dick north of 8 inches, so you can't always go off sexually characteristics - skeletomuscular will be more indicative.

 No.133383

When I asked that question I meant symptoms, specifically, the rest of your post basically says no. I ask because my dad and his dad's dad and so on all have this quirk where they don't feel like shit when eating too much sugar.

So then build up your symmetry.

What do men prefer? Asymmetrical women? Symmetrical? Do asymmetrical people prefer symmetrical, and symmetrical prefer asymmetrical? Is symmetry the evolutionary future? Should I be studying mathematics again?

Is it to do with brain evolution? We developed two hemispheres, so perhaps symmetrical people have more clear and palpable brain hemisphere connections which are beneficial to others to mimic.

You can never be phermone-free (or whatever) but I bet a guy could mask his scent somewhat easily if he thinks it would help.

- Shaving/trimming armpits, pubes. No beard. Shorter hairstyles.

- Consistently clean - difficult when working a physically demanding job.

- Light cologne on wrists and neck. Do NOT overdo this. You want to lead her nose away from your natural scent.

What am I missing?

Thanks, tbh though my stats are all mangled up at the moment. I'm the excon killer pizzaman, and all that prison time fucked hard with my lifts. For 3 years all I did was calisthenics, and I've only been back in the gym now for about two months. It turns out calisthenic pushups/pullups etc. manage to maintain upper body strength, but despite working out my legs 3 times a week, the human body just isn't heavy enough to keep decent strength in them.

I mean they look alright, hence the compression shorts, but my bench is the same as my squat right now which is hilariously bad, Doing Stronglifts 5x5 at the moment, so things should balance out in time.

Keep in mind again that I was doing calisthenics for a very long time and have just started with the weights again, also these are my working set weights, not my maxes.

>Squat, 210x5, for last 3 sets

>Bench, 210x5, for last 3 sets

>Pullup, 45x5 on a weight-belt for last 3 sets (close-grip), widegrip is with 30 lbs

>DL, 275x3 for last set

>Front Squat, 175x5 for last 3 sets

>One Arm Rows, 85x5 for last 3 sets

>Dumbbell OHP, 65x5 for last 3 sets

It'll balance out again in time. I'm only 175 pounds right now, of course that's with almost no body fat.

>>133588

It was a complete accident, manslaughter not murder. I think the state was being merciful only giving me 3 years mandatory. Still lost 61 pounds in there which was of course a huge setback.

The fuck, why didn't you use the prison yard?

 No.133632

>>133596

I did, all they have in my state is pullup and dip bars, no weights. I was also 230 pounds when I was arrested, a weight which is hard to maintain on a diet of 1800 calories with 20 grams of protein, 90% of which is soy. In my first 56 days I lost 33 pounds.

All in all I lost 61 pounds of muh gains, however for my last year I managed to join the prison kitchen and got about 20 pounds back.

Most people go to prison as skinny little crackheads, end up clean for the first time in their lives, eat better food than they normally do and start working out. So for most they do most definitely come out better than when they came in.

However for someone already seriously into exercise it has the exact opposite effect.

>>133636

I doubt it. As I say 90% of the "meat" in there is a substance known as "textured vegetable protien" which is soy. The packages used to be labeled "not for human consumption" but then that was changed merely to "for institutional use only". The guys in the kitchen who slam that shit down I ate mostly beans and greens always end up with bad health problems.

Tomorrow is the last day of my shitty retail job, and Monday I finally start a manufacturing gig at a company who actually treats their employees like human beans instead of expendable robots. I'll be earning $3 more per hour than before, which will steadily increase with neutral-positive performance reviews. The benefits package is incredible and includes a profit-sharing bonus every year. I haven't even worked a single shift yet and they already paid for my new steel toe boots and prescription safety glasses. They have on-site physical therapists for immediate response to repetitive stress injuries and the like. If you hurt yourself, they give you an easier job until you heal so there's no gap in your paychecks. All the work and machinery is designed around ergonomics for maximum ease of use and always keeping heavy things in your power zone, making a blue collar hard labor job piss-easy. Once I'm done training for my first position, I can train for almost anything else in the building, I just have to ask them. And being trained in more work centers also increases your value and paycheck. They even reward you for suggesting new ideas that increase efficiency or safety, and actually put those ideas into practice if they're legit. I can work overtime if I want but it's not required.

It took me five months to get into this specific company, and it was worth it. This shit is like a miracle, all I've ever had is awful jobs where HR cared more about protecting the company than retaining employees, and management were ruthless dictators. This place has an extensive screening process but once you're in, you're IN, and life is good.

Hey /fit/, I've been following the board for almost five years now. I just want to say that shitposting for better or for worse has been helpful in my quest for aesthetics. Even though much has changed as far as board culture, there's always something worth getting involved in.

Lately I've been sad, so there's not much good feels to pass on. I'm not gonna reply to every post on here but I'm happy for all of your progress and I appreciate your best efforts to improve yourself. Keep going strong. I'm happy for you autistic fuckfaces.

Oh yeah, I'm becoming more aesthetic and stronger. So I guess there's that.
