I thought only full body workouts were good for the natty lifter and 6x a week was too much for the natty lifter. But have to say I am making my best gains and getting big as hell.

I'm fed up with SS shit, it just gives you monster thighs+ass with stick arms and calves. The only real good things about it are testosterone boost and lower body strength. I want to be A E S T H E T I C so girls will be all gaga for me. Should I just do PPL? Anybody want to recommend a PPL program for aesthetic gains? 3 times a week. Also, is it really that important to get super strong with SS before doing PPL? 'Cause I fell out of the gym habit because of work and lost a lot of weight and muscle. I only want to spend months becoming a T rex again if I have to in order for the PPL to work.

If being a good looking manlet means girls will hoist up their yoga pants in front of me and blush when I glance at their rack then if I get jacked they'll be crawling all over me. That's the theory. All the big dudes in the gym are doing bro shit like curls and the thing where they hold the 45 steering-wheel style and raise it. They're not doing SS. Sometimes I see beefy bros doing squats, deads, bench, chins and dips- those are all awesome, but never overhead press or cleans. Those exercises must be bullshit. And look at Mark Rippetoe. He's a fat ass with puny forearms, he doesn't even look like he lifts. Fuck's the point of going through all that effort and you don't even get swole? "I might look like a DYEL, but I'll have you know I can use my ass muscles to drive up hundreds of pounds!" That's not impressing anybody.

With a low fat, high carbohydrate diet, it is possible, especially if the only fat eaten maintains a high ratio of saturated to unsaturated fat. If not losing enough fat, lower fat intake more; if not building enough muscle, increase carbs more (protein too if applicable). The only caveat is maintaining adequate levels of fat soluble vitamins which are normally only digestible in dietary fat, so you must either consciously go out of your way to eat enough fat when you eat foods or supplements with these specific vitamins or purchase liquid fat soluble vitamin supplements (usually in something like tocopherols or MCT oil) that are meant to be administered topically on the skin (where they are absorbed and eventually enter the blood stream) rather than eaten. That may sound like a chore, but the reality is that few people get truly adequate amounts of those vitamins on average diets anyways, so you would probably benefit with supplementation regardless, especially since vitamin A is intimately associated with steroidogenesis.
