I've let myself go since High school (210 now 300+) and I need help. Desperately. I just went on pof(literally all day), got not one message back or anything. Then roleplayed as chadTC and got my inbox blown up(literally just spammed "hi" at girls and got lots of replies) . Got really depressed after that and almost cried. I'm 24 years old and a khv. I spent my college years, some of the best years of my life just dicking around playing vidya and watching porn. I came to the sudden realization that time is running out. If I don't get my act together FAST and lose a shit ton of weight or I'll be posting suicide notes on wizchan for real. I know I sound like a sad cunt, and frankly, I am a sad cunt and this is my come to jesus moment. My life has been absolute shit the past 6 years. I'm a walking r9k meme and soon to be unironically a wizard.

Any ex-fatties on here struggle with this feel? How did you guys overcome this? Post those feels you felt. I feel like shit right now.

Don't focus on what's already happened, because you can't change that; instead, focus on what's to come and what you can do to improve yourself. Make a list of the things you're unhappy about in your life, and think of how you can resolve or change them, or failing that, why you're unable to change them and thus shouldn't worry about them.

There's lots of us ex-fatties here, welcome brother.

No one is coming to save you. Either you get your shit together or you start writing that suicide note - your choice and yours alone.

There's one way out of the hole that you've dug for yourself and that's straight upwards. Fix your eating, start moving, clean your living space, do it now.

There's a light at the end of the tunnel. It's not bright but it's there. Lots and lots of men post these sorts of stories and lots and lots of them get lost along the way and give up. The odds say that not many will make it.

Get up, it's time to go.

ex fat ass here

I was obese most of my life, from 10 to 38. one day i stepped on a scale and it said 236 lb and I sperged out. but since that day I dedicated myself to living a better life style. found /fit and then found people like rippletits and uncle goody. now I'm 155 lb. will hit forty in the best shape of my life.

you can make it, it takes dedication, focus, and a lot of research. learn about food and exercise.

you can't fix it in a day, but if you start today soon you'll get there.

Thanks anon. I'm trying the whole low-carb/keto meme since that is the best way I know how to cut, and the only thing that has ever worked for me(in short bursts, until I ducked it up mind you). Any tips or ways to do stuff better would be appriciated. What macro ratio do you anons follow? What is your personal fastest way to cut pounds?

I'm not an ex fattie, I'm slim just wanted to add I read an article in the local paper about a woman who went to the doctor and found out she weighted 140kg. The scale she had at home didn't go beyond 125kg.

To make this a TL:DR she was recommended a gastric bypass operation but changed her mind and cancalled it, spending 3 months researching dieting. Then she started counting the nutrition value in exactly everything she ate and kept her diet for 2 years, losing 60kg.

This example shows its doable if you have self discipline and determination. Keep posting here for support and you can do it.

Fix your diet, limit carbs to a minimum, do not eat bread, do not eat or drink sugary shit, lean meat and vegetables, ones that you do not dislike, enjoyment of what you eat is key and drink a lot of water/tea. It will be enough for you to start to melt quite literally, do some lifting if you want, cardio exercises that do not fuck up your joints, really important part, swimming would be ideal.

To give you an idea I lost 45-50kg in 9 months and the first 20-30 went away really fucking fast.

Once you reach an acceptable weight for you height and genetical build, start bodyweight shit and/or lifting, but again, that's just if you feel like doing it once you reached your normal weight, just stop eating like a faggot.

Don't get depressed if you've got fat remains in some parts of your body, I don't think it's worth starving yourself unless you want to be one of those faggots who just want to lose weight because their normie brain is asking for pussy.

Thanks baguette anon. Off to a good start. Got 45 minutes of cardio in today and been eating nothing but meat + veggies the past couple days.

BTW what is carb cycling and should I bother with it? y/n?

96c186  No.129949

>>129944

>carb cycling

I never bothered with trendy diets and muh nutrition science so I can't help you with that, I mostly ate green beans with my meat for muh carb needs and some other kinds of beans sometimes, and potatoes to enjoy myself every now and then but that's because I enjoy potatoes way too much.

Honestly you don't need to overthink your diet, that's for women and bodybuilders. No pasta no bread though, avoid that shit.

Also don't overdo it, if you do too much cardio too often you're gonna burn out eventually, if you eat the most healthy but not particularly good trendy shit, you're hate eating, food is supposed to be tasty. If you don't enjoy your new routine it's not gonna last.

Also install myfitnesspal and monitor your caloric intake. Try to get by with 1500cal a day, and lift heavy stuff. You should lose fat and build muscle.

A little update for anyone curious about how I am doing.

>weight down to 285

>pulling 1-2 hours of cardio about 4 days a week at the gym

>eating at about 1400-2000 cal/day OMAD i.e. just enough to not starve or binge later. I found out about EC stack and it helps with this part immensely.

I feel better now. Still got a long way to go though.

Nice. Remember there aren't any shortcuts and you shouldn't waste time looking for one or wishing there was one. Keep doing what you're doing, slow and steady, and you're gonna make it. When it comes to weight loss, diet is much more important than exercise, but of course both is ideal. If I were you I wouldn't run much if at all given your weight, it'll be hard on your joints. Try swimming or walking until you get to a more reasonable weight.

Keep it up.

This.

I don't know if you have these where you live but you could try water gymnastics. It's a group exercise often recommended for overweight people since moving in water is easier and doesn't strain your knees. You also get motivation by taking part in a social activity.

OP it's crucial that once you lose some weight that you start eating your fruits and vegetables because quick weight loss gimmicks might seem to work in the beginning but are very unhealthy long term strategies. once people lose some weight they think they are clear and then relapse really hard. I lost the weight while gradually switching to veganism slowly but never ever went back. I stayed skinny and I'm still healthy and I feel great. check out the vegan thread and watch out for the trolls.

this is a shill. don't listen to them. liposuction is extremely expensive and dangerous and has terrible side effects. liposuction doesn't just suck out fat, a bunch of blood vessles and other important shit gets ripped out with it. it also hurts like hell after they shove a turkey baster like device under all your thick sore stretched out skin. don't try it.
