First and foremost, a healthy liver, and that is only achievable on a low polyunsaturated fat, low iron, low endotoxin-producing/potentially low starch and fiber, low alcohol diet with enough protein and certain B vitamins for the purpose of helping the liver expell estrogens and various toxins. While sunlight and especially red light have the potential to improve the health and apprarance of any tissue, exposure to UVB rays causes sunburn and wrinkles when they oxidize polyunsaturated fats in adipose tissue under the skin. Coconut oil and vitamin E treat sunburn. Hormones must be high in T3, progesterone, and pregnenolone and low in cortisol and estrogens. Cortisol makes skin thin and sensitive. Low T3 causes slow peristalsis and old waste to be reabsorbed and filtered by the liver multiple times. Substitute extra caffeine if T3 is lacking. Carbohydrate intake must stay high to support hormone production with fructose being especially helpful. The 4 fat soluble vitamins retinol, D3, E, and K2 (MK-4) are essential in clearing the skin and maintaining hormonal balance. Retinol especially for acne and E for opposing the polyunsaturated fats that are likely contributing to acne, and D3 and K2 for healthy hormones and avoiding imbalance and hypercalcemia from only having retinol and E. Topical caffeine and niacinamide will rejuvenate tissues where applied.
