aight dudes i got long legs and a short torso. how do i squat so i dont fuck up my knees hella bad.

every time i go down its either knees are way past toes or butt is super far back. so far been keepin the butt back because i heard extending knees over toes is the fast ticket to tendonitis. wondering if this has any implications for my back.

started squatting recently, im at about 50kg (110 lb) so far.

my stance is wide and splayed naturally (maybe 30-45 degrees out, heels at shoulder width) on account of pelvis shape.

tldr long legs, short torso, makes for weird squats. knees out past toes or butt way back? femurs parallel with ground or ok slightly less so?

watch a fucking jewtube video

All that matters is the bar being on the spine of your scapula while it moves straight up and down over midfoot. Everything form-wise flows from there.

Box squats with dumbbells. Only way to squat.

Or just keep the bar in the proper position and keep your back and shines parallel.

By going down and getting back up. Watch some jewtube videos you waste of air.

it's just your head, not your hips. stop making threads and ask in the QTDDTOT instead

it's fat and muscle distribution that your body just happens to do, not your hips, pics and proof or you can stfu and go back to your /r9k/

i'd cut my dick at the tip to have this shit anchored

lolwut, fat and muscle distribution have nothing to do with skeletal proportions

>long legs and a short torso

stop being dumb on my thread

I figured that this was the thread for posting this.

I am absolutely dogshit at squatting and would desperately like to improve. I can barely do two plates as is, meaning my bench press is higher. My legs aren't weak, or at least I don't think they are. I can sumo deadlift four plates and leg press 800lbs. It's my lower back that kills me, which is why I deadlift sumo-style in the first place. I know the best way to improve squatting is usually just to squat, but since my legs are quite strong already, wouldn't I improve more quickly with isolation exercises?

So your lower back is too week to carry the bar?

In that case Bulgarian split squads might help. And you should definitely work on your back then.

>>129392

It's not too weak to carry the bar, it just hurts like hell during the actual squat. I could easily shoulder three plates and maybe go up to four, but the actual motion just causes a lot of pain in what I think is my iliac crest.

In that case you should maybe visit a chiropractor.

>chiropractor

You really think it could be that bad? I'm tall, 6'10" to be precise, but I haven't had any back problems. Could my height have anything to do with my squat performance?

>You really think it could be that bad?

I only thought that no one can give you a qualified diagnosis on the internet. Back problems are no joking matter though.
